Sinnius Green
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
Contents |
Personality
Sinnius Green is designed to fulfill a singular purpose, freeing one of the old gods from a dimensional prison. To fulfill his purpose, he will deceive, coerce, blackmail, torture and murder without remorse. He values no life, beyond his own and his master's. The magically powered nano-technology that comprises his form is effectively immortal, resulting in an appearance of over-confidence and risk-taking. He also has the virtue of patience. His plans are long-term, and is content to slowly and methodically work towards those goals.
History
Origin
Sinnius Green's origins are well documented in the MechaNation archive. His spark of life began as a single, magically created nano-robot in Nevada, somewhere near Area 51. Utilizing surrounding materials, the nanobot reproduced and constructed the original form of Sinnius Green. Placement near Area 51 allowed Sinnius to intercept communications from, and eventually interface with the military computer at the air force base, acquire highly advanced technical knowledge, and eventually identify a possible process for releasing the imprisoned god.
The Plan
Although the exact process known only to Sinnius Green, much can be speculated from his actions and intercepted communications. Sinnius Green began recruiting an army of scientists and engineers from the Rogue Isles. He began by obtaining currency and resources by recruiting a wealthy (and insane) benefactor. Then, with promises of immortality, power, access to high tech laboratories, and freedom to experiment, brilliant and mad scientists began flocking to his side. Preaching the ideology that machines were destined to inherit the earth, he convinced many of his followers to submit to a full robotic conversion, a process that had been perfected by Repairman Jack. As expected, this ideology spread across the Rogues Isles and attracted many abandoned, autonomous robots. More recently, the MechaNation has ramped up it's manufacturing capacity by deciding on a standardized platform for experimentation. The exact purpose of the MechaNation army is unknown, however it is believed that the army itself is an integral part of his plans, and does not simply represent a defensive component.
Notable Appearances
Sinnius Green has personally accompanied the MechaNation against various targets in the Rogue Isles. Confirmed victories include the demon Bat'Zul, Colonel Duray of the Skyraiders, the Leviathan and Calystix, Archus of the Circle of Thorns, Lord Recluse, and Statesman in an alternate timeline. Sinnius Green also appeared briefly with Doctor Crom during the battle with the future Crom. It is not known why he chose to ally himself against future Crom, nor whether that alliance continues to this day. Most recently, Sinnius Green has been spotted in the Ritki warzone, and has been reported working with Vanguard in defense against the Rikit invasion.
