Character History

Terrell Jackson was in the wrong place at the wrong time. At the age of 15, he's been a "card carrying" member of the Skulls of Kings Row for a year now, having gone through his initiation ritual at 14 and being the youngest amongst their ranks. Simply laying back in a Skulls owned warehouse, Terrell sees from afar a lieutenant negotiate a Superadine deal with a suspicious looking man in a backwards baseball cap and a Hawaiian shirt. Turns out it was a set up by an undercover PPD cop and SWAT suddenly stormed in, arresting him and 35 of his other gang buddies. Every Skull member was sentenced to twenty five years behind bars for drug trafficking. Luckily for Terrell, he only was only charged as an accessory and, being a minor, received two years in juvenile detention and five years probation.

Juvenile detention was hellish for Terrrell, but he decided to educate himself since he had no prior interest with school. Upon browsing the prison's library, a book entitled, "Epinephrine, The Body's Natural Superadine...Without the Whole Green Skin Thing" caught his eye. Mildly interested because of his gang's association with Superadine, he picked up the book and read the full 452 page book in two days, gripped the whole time. He learned many many facts about the human kidneys and the hormone Epinephrine, also known as Adrenaline. Now entirely invested in the study of Adrenaline, he continued his research with more books about the subject. Unfortunately, the resources on this specific topic were scarce in the library and he took this opportunity to dig within himself, metaphorically of course, to learn more about this elusive hormone.

While meditating and concentrating on his central nervous system, he had a miraculous breakthrough: his body forcefully enhanced itself with a sudden increase of Adrenaline at his own will. His body stature grew three times in size, clothes torn from the growing, and was granted superhuman strength and became completely invulnerable (traits of most humans when Epinephrine enter the bloodstream) for the time he was enhanced. Shocked and amazed at his accomplishment, he spent the next year in juvenile detention secretly honing his new skill and learning and stressing his limits.

Terrell was eventually released and was undecided as to how he could practically apply his new ability, though he did vaguely remember hearing somewhere that his probation would be much lighter if he became a registered hero. The only catch was that he would have to become a member of a supergroup in Paragon City and have a prominent registered hero become his mentor. Not so keen on the status of a hero, he decided to keep an open mind and seek out a suitable home to him, registering himself with the combined Latin roots of the word Adrenaline: Adrenes. Coming across an issue of In Crowd magazine, he decided to apply with the Paragonian Knights - Grae Academy. The rest is, well, up to the present.
