Something of a hero for hire, Airstriker is just a phone call away from lending a hand to any heroic group in need of some extra firepower. Something of a glory hog and an alcoholic, he somehow has let neither of these faults (as well as poor personal hygiene, a crude concept of vocabulary, and an exceedingly loose grasp on the legal system, constantly adding layers to the term "Reckless Endangerment", and a tendency to not only rush in where angels fear to tread, but to shove the angels in question aside, grab their flaming swords, and loudly shout that everyone should check this out because it's going to be awesome) get in the way of a modestly successful superhero career.

Affiliations

Airstriker is a card-carrying member of the Paragon Defense Authority but is only really a member because of Tonatiuh, the only hero he regularly associates with. Otherwise Airstriker tends to hop from group to group, alienating most he meets. He is also formerly affiliated with several villain groups, most notably the Sky Raiders, or at least claims to vaguely remember having been.

Personality

Loud, grating, and very little self-control. Aside from being a self-centered Type A in the first place, Airstriker is fond of all the finer self-damaging things in life, including alcohol. He describes himself as a "functional alcoholic", which tends to mean that no matter how drunk he is he will still attempt complicated tasks even (read: especially) if it is a bad idea to do so.

Powers

Airstriker is equipped with a state of the art (well, more ill defined territory of the art) powered flight suit, which is loaded down with an array of incendiary devices that can be adapted for use as rockets- or was it an array of rockets that can be adapted for use as incendiary devices? In any case, he can fly and set things on fire, and is also equipped with advanced targeting sensors and a stealth mode that is only made a moot point 80% of the time by Airstriker's tendency to explode the minute he sees a hostile.

Abilities

Air is an accomplished pilot, if an unprofessional one, a crack shot when sober (so never), and has an encyclopedic knowledge of liquor.

Weaknesses and Limitations

DRUNK.

Character History

As much of his history that he is willing to discuss is very vaguely recalled. Airstriker used to be a pilot in the US Air Force, until reckless piloting got him discharged. In his ejection he took a load of military hardware with him, and managed to jury rig it into what would become the flight suit he wears today. After that he fell in with the wrong people, and recalls a tryst with the Sky Raiders for certain, then eventually fell out with them due to a lack of discipline and ended up getting into the hero business. Overall his take on events is untrustworthy and fraught with blank spaces.
