Powers/Abilities
Aries IV is mutant who can psionically access the extra-dimensional energy of the Darkness Dimension, which grants him a number of superhuman abilities. He is connected to the Darkness dimension by means of his consciousness being split between a physical body and a Darkness representation of same, both symbiotically linked.
Aries posse's a Sixth sense that manifests as his eyes turning solid black at the arrival of potential life threatening situations , alerting him to personal danger. It appears to be a simultaneous, seemingly psychic response to a wide variety of phenomena brought on by his connection to the Darkness. Though the exact mechanism of this ability is unknown. Using his Sixth sense to time his enhanced reflexes, Aries can casually dodge attacks up to and including automatic-weapons fire. Even point blank, his sixth-sense has already warned him in enough time to get away l, before he can even consciously think about his actions. However, he can ignore this instinct. Aries can choose to ignore his sixth-sense, and distraction or fatigue can cause him to ignore it as well. Aries can use his sixth-sense to help battle even the most skilled fighters. While not being as trained as them in conventional fighting styles his sixth sense and reflexes (provided with split second quickness and agility) allow him to dodge and counter, often with ease.
His touch is linked directly to the Darkness Dimension with its alien properties Aries can through physical contact of his skin with the skin of that person drain the life force of other human beings into him. If he drains a person's entire life force, the victim dies and crumbles to dust in seconds.Aries's vitality depends upon his absorbing the life forces of one or more people on a regular basis. This restores him when he has been injured, by using the absorbed life energies that sustain him, Aries can some what enhance his physical strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, and durability to almost superhuman levels. The amount of energy he has retained from his victims does seem to correlate somewhat with his physical strength and resistance to injury. As of recently Aries IV has begun to develop new powers linked to the Darkness Dimension, he is now exhibiting the ability to teleport himself over short distances on Earth by traveling through the Darkness dimension.
Aries has been classified as a master martial artist, though the specific fighting arts he is learning have never been revealed. Aries fighting skills and techniques have been shown to surpass those of the Tsoo ninja ,or Blood Widow. In addition to the fighting skills he learned from his S.A.I.N.T training , Aries IV has recently received training from Foreshadow and hopes to resume the teaching at a later date.
