Origin
Natalia Myr led a very traumatic life. When she was a 13, both her parents were brutally murdered in front of her very eyes by the 5th Column. She only escaped that fate by hiding in a closet. This however was only the start of Natalia's troubles. With no family, she was left to wander the streets of Paragon, eeking out a meager existance on the scraps of society. This lasted for several months, until she was jumped by some Hellions, who seeing her defenseless and vulnerable.....took advantage of her in the worst way. Before they were finished, however, a hero by the name of Markus Delorean busted the Hellions up. He took pity on the girl, who told him that she had no family, and he adopted her, having no children of his own.
The years with Markus were relatively peaceful, he trained her how to fight and instilled within her his ideals of justice and protection of the innocent. It wasn't to last however. Four years later, Markus was ambushed by Crey operatives and subdued. He had been selected for one of Crey's smaller sister projects to the Revenant Hero Project. Natalia became worried sick once Markus disappeared, and set out to look for him, with little success.
What she did succeed at was attracting the attention of the Council. They identified her as a viable Nictus implantion specimen and kidnapped her. She was taken to a small Nictus research lab and subjected to horrific expermientation. Five months went by as she was tormented by the Council's scientists. Until one day, she heard a faint voice inside her head, a whisper in the wind. A Kheldian that was also housed in the research station, undergoing its own trials, had contacted Natalia's mind. They could work together, the Kheldian said, and together they would have the power to break free from their cages. There was a small window of opprotunity, when the guards came to escort Natalia past the Kheldian's holding container she could hurl herself at the container, breaking it and allowing the Kheldian to merge with her, strengthing them both.
Natalia quickly agreed, even if she failed, the worst that could happen would be her death, and at that point, death was a release.
The plan was executed flawlessly, Natalia Myr and the Kheldian Jehuty became Astra Myrmidon and quickly smited her oppressors. She blasted each and every Councilman in the base, freed the other prisoners and burned the place to the ground.
Personality
She's a very intense girl, though she puts up a strong front, laying underneth her fury is a great fear of becoming victimized again, of being hurt again. She's got a pathological adversion to becoming weak because of this. Further, she will go out of her way to save victims and to wreck righteous vengence upon the perpetrators of violent crimes. She especially gets.....intense when dealing with the Council.
Current Affairs
Astra's a member of the Justice Guard, though she tends to be somewhat distant to the other members. She spends most of her time tracking down and thrwarting any and all Council plots she can find.
Powers
Astra does not have the dwarf or nova forms that many Kheldians possess. Jehuty is rather young by Kheldian standards, having been "born" on Earth. She does however, posses a number of blasts, shields, and flight capablities.
