Biography
Childhood
Atella was first noticed by the resistance while still a child. It is suspected that her parents where killed or captured for aiding the resistance, but that Atella herself somehow escaped. Living on the street, for fear of being taken like her parents, she survived on whatever food she could scavenge or steal.
During this time she also developed a basic ability to find the quickest, most effective escape routes out of any are she entered, in order to get away from anyone chasing her. This being just an angered store-owner, or the odd PPD-patrol she encountered.
Resistance training
After being held under observation by resistance couriers for a while, they agreed that with training Atella would make a good runner, allready possessing some of the abilities and physique required for the job. She was therefore approached and given the offer of joining them, in return for getting a place to stay, and training to reach her full potential.
While this went on she was also taught how to defend herself by another resistance operative, and a practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan.
Resistance operative
At the age of sixteen, after about four years training with other resistance runners, Atella was given her final test and first mission. She was to deliver a message to a resistance operative working in the Imperial City sector.
Getting to the rendevous, and handing off the message proved to be no trouble. However, on the way back she was ambushed by a PPD-patrol. Acting on an instinct learned by long years surviving on her own, she dove towards the closest opening in their lines, and set off at full sprint. Vaulting over obstacles in her way with practiced, fluid motions, soon leaving the officers behind.

Trivia
- While trained to defend herself, years working as a courier has given Atella an instinctive ability to locate and take advantage of any nearby escape-route, choosing to do so over fighting whenever possible.
- Will usually try to appear friendly yet unremarkable, not wishing to draw attention to herself.
- Poses as an all-purpose 'handyman' when speaking to people she does not trust, and has taught herself the skills required to fix most household appliances, in case she should ever be asked to prove this as her profession.
- Allways wears clothing chosen for practicality and low friction, usually consisting of running-shoes, athletic tights or sweatpants, and a tank top.
