The Bacchi, The Ancient Gargoyles of Old
The Bacchi, gargoyle-esque demons crafted from the various stones and ores of the earth by Hades, were created for the sole purpose of acting as the shock troopers within the civil war of the Greek Pantheon. But then, as it was clear that an ever-lasting peace would reign over the heavens, the Gods turned against the Bacchi, and with a fury, obliterated the entirety of their race... Or so it was thought.
Recently, the Bacchi have re-emerged, some from their long, stone slumbers, and others recently hatching from long-dormant eggs. These ancient warriors of the Gods have come back to the Realm of Mortals, and are determined in conquering the lands they were once set out to protect!
Physiology
The Race as a whole
- The Bacchi race is easily identified, in most forms, by their ram shaped horns, their slag gray to onyx black skin, their clawed, animal-like legs, and their pronged tails.
Males
- The Males of the race vary, depending on their role in society. The majority of them are corded with muscle, yet still averaging about six to seven feet in height, and resembling a somewhat human look about them. The difference is the Sires.
Sires
Large, hulking monstrosities, the Sires simply scream 'Alpha Male'. Corded muscles, polished skin, and large enough to rip a semi truck in half, there is nothing but a sense of savagery in them, to all outsiders.
