He Believed

I Hope This Hurts

Believed grew up a mage in a world where their power must compete against numerous types of heroes and villains. He understands that the old ways of magic need to evolve in order to outshine all other contemporary powers. This has lead him to challenge the very rules of magic that surround him, often to his own pain and punishment. He feels he needs to be able to endure any force he faces, leading him on a journey to become both immortal and invincible.

His character is marked by a rush to fight, always having to be the first into a battle. Bel is also modest character, and deeply respects those he sees as stronger than him, even though he constantly wants to test his own strength against theirs. The more pain involved, the stronger he feels.

Character Traits

Pretty much all of Believed's motives are self serving, and he feels little allegiance to any one with the exception of other mages. In conversation he is usually crass and shows little interest in the personal problems of others. He has a strong distaste for dragons, mostly due to his own personal weakness with fire and a history of having his own personal goals interfered with. He has strong pride in being a mage and does not appreciate any one attempting to harm those of a magic origin.
