The Cursed Bijou or simply Bijou, is quite an anomaly in the “underground” entertainment world. Not much is known about this peculiar girl [?] and her shrouded past. Her unusual appearance and bizarre mannerism has left many dumbfounded and scratching their heads.
Bijou is know for her macabre performances which are often referred to as Séances. Those who have witnessed one claim that they are held in intimate or remote locations where paranormal activity is frequent, such as haunted houses, cemeteries and cursed land. Because of this, some believe she is tampering with unseen forces and directly influencing or communicate with the dead.
Physical
❀ Bijou has a very sporadic speech pattern. Most of the time her words are short, nonsensical ramblings. Sometimes she can be heard speaking complete phrases. It is unknown as to why she rambles and what language she may be speaking when she does. Her voice is pleasant , eerily soft, and slightly raspy. She also appears to sound quite young and has a hint of a Cajun accent.
❀ The white cloth that Bijou wraps around her body covers everything completely except her face. Upon closer examination, it is a very soft and high quality linen that is extremely clean and smells faintly of rose petals and incenses. Bijou is often seen wearing a faded pink Lolita dress over the cloth.
❀ Bijou is known for her “Mask” which is the upper portion of a human skull (She appears to have no bottom jaw, which may attribute to her speech) Though it is referred to as a Mask, those who have gotten close enough to examine her more thoroughly believe it is actually her face -- or at least attached to it. Her large and golden cat-like eyes fit perfectly and naturally into the eye sockets.
❀ Her “Teddy Bear-Like” ears, which were initially thought to be costume pieces, have been reported to respond to touch and sounds.
❀ Though she appears to be very aloof, she’s actually extremely curious and exhibits very childlike or animal behaviors (Head tilting, Crawling, Leaping, Mimicry, etc.) She also has a habit of sleeping or lying down anywhere.
Supernatural
❀ Anyone who can communicate with spirits, demons, etc. can comprehend her utterances.
❀ Those sensitive to energy can feel an unusually large presence of spirits congregating around her, yet feel nothing from Bijou herself. It is almost as if she is empty or hollow. It would be quite difficult and even impossible to sense her presence if not for the spirits.
❀ Does not breathe and does not require sleep or food.
❀ Does not cast a shadow but shades and shadows seem to linger around her.
