Background
Early Life
Like many children, Kyle claimed to have many exciting adventures traveling the world and seeing exotic places. Unlike those other children though, he was not imagining things. For part of his life, Kyle was raised in the city of Madison, Wisconsin where his parents both worked as professors of ancient history and mythology. However, during the summer months, they moonlighted as archeologists, traveling to all manner of strange locations in search of lost cultures and forgotten artifacts. In hopes of having their son follow in their footsteps, they would bring young Kyle with them, opening his mind to what ancient civilizations were like and the strange stories that surrounded them.
As they had hoped, the young boy was fascinated by what he saw. His mind raced with the tall tales of strange creatures, ancient magics, and mystical warriors of legends old. Unfortunately, when he was 13, his adventures came to an end as his mother became pregnant with his little sister, Josephine. Though, while his parents had decided to dial back their wild adventures to care for their new child, Kyle craved more and, as they had hoped for, followed in his parent's footsteps, studying history in hopes of becoming an archeologist like his parents were.
A New Life
During his senior year of high school, Kyle's parents were offered a job at Paragon City University with tenure. Their exploits and past discoveries has caught the attention of the dean at PCU and thought they would make a fine addition to the university's staff. Despite the need to pull up what roots he had in Madison and make a new home in Paragon City, Kyle was ecstatic about the change. Paragon City was full of all sorts of colorful heroes, some of which could trace their origins to the same myths and legends Kyle was studying. And, for one excited young man, this was the rebirth of the grand adventures he use to have years ago.
