Appearance
History
Eric Brown was born to a pair of mutant supremacists. Unfortunately, Eric did not share the genetic markers that made them who and what they were, so they quickly decided that they could not be seen with a normal baby and dropped him off at his equally unremarkable paternal grandmother's house. He had a relatively happy childhood with a loving grandmother who did everything she could to make sure he grew up well.
Eric excelled in school, and quickly discovered that he had a knack for engineering. Eventually, this earned him a full ride in a prestigious college, where he focused on environmental engineering, specifically researching ways to combat the loss of Earth's ice sheets.
Unfortunately, before he could finish school, Eric's grandmother fell ill. Medical bills quickly piled up and the bank foreclosed on his grandmother's house. Having had enough, Eric disappeared from school, along with his promising cryogenics project.
Not long after that, Coldcrack broke into his first bank vault. Since then, he's made a name for himself as a bank robber.
Powers, Abilities & Equipment
Coldcrack has no inherent powers of his own. He relies entirely on his extreme weather suit and cryo-tech.
Coldcrack uses an extreme cold suit that allows him to withstand the immense cold generated by his cryo-tech. While the original design only defended against extreme cold, Coldcrack has since modified the suit, adding a layer of bulletproof material that allows him to withstand small arms fire.
Coldcrack's cryo-tech was originally designed to help combat the loss of arctic ice. While remarkably effective for this purpose, it has since been re-purposed to assist Coldcrack in his current occupation: robbing banks. Coldcrack's cryo-tech takes two forms: his gauntlets, capable of projecting extreme cold and ice, and his cryo-blaster, which is a much more focused version of the gauntlets that connects to and draws off of the same power source. Using this technology, Coldcrack super cools bank vaults to the point where the metal cracks and allows him to snatch up all that sweet, sweet cash.
Relationships
Phillipa Brown: Coldcrack's grandmother and the entire reason he became a bank robber. Eric loves her with all of his heart and is willing to do whatever it takes to cure her. For now, though, he keeps her cryogenically frozen.
