Overview
"Hero of the Soviet Union", Commissar Aleksandr Menshikov served and fought during the Leningrad Blockage for start to finish, and set foot in Berlin in time for the wars end.
Tall, strong, brave, handsome, charismatic, Aleksandr was part of many propaganda pictures and film at the time, and was beloved by the men serving under him. He lead brave men by inspiration and example, and when necessary, cowards by fear.
He was Ordered to hold Leningrad at all costs, he secretly employed his then hobby of necromancy to keep up the numbers of fighting men. During the final days of the Seige, on January 14th, he raised all of the dead on the Russian battlefield in an epic attempt to overcome the German defences -- it worked, but the spell was too much for him and he was weakened such that he died shortly after the war.
He returned from the underworld with several volunteer allies some years later, ready once again to combat Fascism.
