Character Background
During the Ritki War, a desperate measure was taken by the United Nations Security Council. A distress beacon was sent from Earth warning of the near imminent destruction and subjugation of the planet by the Ritki army. When it seemed all hope was lost, miraculously, the SOS was received by a those that became known as the "Changelings".
They are a race of humanoid-like beings located in a distant star system called the "Chamaeleon". Powered the rich energy of the sun, they innately possess an ability to shape-shift and uniquely adapt to their environment. Through the use of captured Rikti technology a portal was made and the Changelings responded to the call.
Side-by-side, they fought, bled and died alongside with their human comrades. The price they paid was dear, but eventually they were able to turn the tide of the war, and defeat the Rikti army. Now, a small contigent of Changelings reside on earth, led by their captain, the greatest of them, Itlzalan.
Although he has partnered with "The Six Pillars of Justice" while joining forces with the heroes The People's Vanguard to stem the tide of crime, he never neglects his primary mission -- to watch and wait as a vigil guardian for the coming day of the Ritki's return.

A rapid-response team comprised of the world's most powerful and diverse heroes containing a Defender, a Blaster, a Tanker, a Scrapper, a Controller, and a Kheldian. Individually, few are their equal, but collectively they are a force that is nigh unstoppable. Dedicated to stopping the enemy by using more "persuasive" means then Statesman and the Freedom Phalanx would publicly sanction, together, these six superheroes are capable of handling almost any threat conceived. Their motto: Whether villains are brought to justice or justice is villains, make no mistake — justice will be served!.
"The Cosmic Chamelon" is the seamless glue that binds the team together. He is a jack-of-all trades, a master at adapting to any situation on a moment's notice. His greatest contribution is his flexibility that makes the team that much more effective as a unit.
