Overview

I've been told I'm not being graded, so if you expect formality, you'll be disappointed. The City Hero registrar says I have to write a page on how I got my powers for them to view. That's just stupid. What if someone stole the files and found out how to get insta super powers? City Hall isn't exactly equal to Fort-Knox. I can only imagine the Super Villain factory that poor filing cabinet has become. Anyways. I didn't exactly get my powers in a normal way(I've decided that Normal in paragon means sterotypical of the comic industry.)No flash of lightning and shazaam and stuff, I was blowing off some steam in the AE on my custom Avatar, Darenix, during a pretty bad storm. I'd just gotten to level 18 in the combat simulator, and the power went out in the city. I was de-virtualized from the AE system, luckily, but I was de-virtualized as Darenix, not myself. It's lucky I modeled him after myself, because I'm pretty sure my parents wouldn't take kind to someone they've never seen before barging in their house. It still wasn't easy to explain how I got 20 extra pounds of muscle in one day, though. I'm pretty sure that my DNA is half binary, right now. I do know that I'm still linked to the AE system. Your evidence, I can materialize lots of the items I had in game, like the Rocket Board, The Red Wisp, the Jump-jet and a lot of other stuff. I didn't spend a lot of tme figuring out how to use my powers, thanks to the manner I received my powers. There's no off switch to my power. I say power, because does swinging around a katana and being agile doesn't count as a power, I'm pretty sure. Anyways. There's no off switch to my powers, and I've ended up Super-Sprinting in Gym more then once. (Okay. That's 325 words. Can I leave now?)
