Mini Biography: Ditsi Mieko started acting at a young age--2, to be exact (although, some sources say she was four)--in the Independent Film, "Mistah Mockingbird." She showed natural talent and ability and her parents decided that this female may be different from the others in the Mieko family. When she turned 13, however, they discovered they were mistaken.
Always fascinated by ice, Ditsi found that she could start conjuring the element at her will and defending herself against bullies by coating her body in ice. This trick caught the attention of director Miso Tsoop and he cast the 13 year old (though, some sources say she was 15) in the Japanese series "Lukatsu, Mikatsu, & Tim," where she played the cold-hearted Mikatsu. It was a short-lived series.
That series launched her already budding acting career and she turned to the family for involvement in the Sushi Squad-run series and movies, beginning with the mini-series, "Famiry," where each of the Sushi Squad members took on roles of their ancestors to tell their story.
