Early Life 1988-2005

There’s not much to be said about Jonathan’s time as a child. He grew up in stereotypical Texas fashion with an emphasis on sports. He was popular in high school and lettered in both Football and Baseball. His parents both had high hopes for their son. They had honestly hoped that he would give them everything they couldn’t give themselves. There was only one problem with their little plan, Jonathan was a mutant.

Awakening Powers 2005-2006

It was the spring of 2006 when Jonathan’s powers first awakened. It was an unfortunate event not only for himself, but for the person who suffered from the sudden shock (literally) of the mutation coming to life. Simple contact with the teenager caused the individual to end up in a coma from the electricity that was now flowing freely through the Texan’s body.

He, of course hid the fact that it was actually his fault that something happened and tried to sweep it under the rug and ignore it as some kind of fluke. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a one time occurrence, a month later it happened again. It was at this time that his parents drew the conclusion that it was hi fault and they “never wanted to see their freak son again.” Texas, of course, had never been known for their liberal stances.

College 2006-2010

Luckily for Jonathan, he had already been accepted to Texas A&M, and made the four hour trip south and freed himself from the hate that his mutation spurred. Texas A&M was probably the most stable part of Jonathan’s life. His days were filled with classes and studying, his nighters were filled with the normal life of a Frat boy. Of course, he was getting no help from his parents during his time in college. Money was short and he was desperate. In the end he took a job in a local bar, serving drinks and taking off his clothes. Of course, he wasn’t proud of the occupation itself (though, he didn’t have much of a problem with what it entailed), he needed the money to pay for school and desperate times called for desperate measures.

The Graduate 2010-2011

Jonathan graduated Texas A&M with a degree in Kinesiology, of all things he wanted to become a teacher. However, he had decided at the same point he wanted to try to reconnect with his family. In reality, nothing had changed. His family still thought he was a freak and wanted absolutely nothing to do with him.

It was a bitter pill to swallow, but there wasn’t much that Jonathan could do about it. He had a decision to make; however, he could either stay in Dallas look for a job or leave. In the end he decided that he wanted to continue with schooling and filled out the paperwork to start Grad work at Paragon University. You simply couldn’t get farther from Texas than a New England State.

Paragon Ho 2011 ---

Jonathan arrived in Paragon during the winter quarter. All he had on him was a few suitcases and a hope of finding something better in the city. Unfortunately old problems never stay gone for long, and he was back in the rat race of trying to pay for school on his own. He couldn’t get a standard job and go to school, so he found himself picking up the type of job he had during his days of Texas A&M. It was a living, and it afforded him the time to go to school fulltime.

During his first few weeks he met a few people; namely Silver Speed, Tidal Breaker and Bio Blight. He’s not sure where any of it is going, but the whole thing is a good deal better than what was going on in Texas.

Personality

Jonathan is one of the good old boys. Polite to his elders with the pre-requisite ma’am and sirs. With people his age or who he’s extremely comfortable with he can be down right flirty. Physical contact and good laughs are a normal occurrence with him, and he does not have any sort of gender bias. He prefers a good joke and beer over anything serious, and is quick to walk away before his temper gets the better of him.
