Doctor Epidemic is a character that I had brewing in my mind for some time. If I was going to play a super villain I wanted him to be someone unquestionably evil. Someone who’s very existence threatens those around him.
He is partially inspired by the short anime Stink Bomb from the movie Memories.

Personality
A Mad Doctor with even madder plans. He felt that he never got the respect he deserved and now he fells it’s the worlds place to pay. He has gone more than a little insane and views everyone in the world infected with a terrible case of “Health” that only he can cure.
Character History
Dr. Edward P. Demik was one of Crey's top research scientists in the field of chemical warfare. His latest project was a serum that turned the subject into a living hive for viruses and bacteria effectively making the subject into a walking plague. It underwent several research stages before Crey decided the serum to be too imprecise in its use, the devastation too vast to be effectively covered up, and the mind warping side effects too pronounced.
They kept the Doctor working for Crey under the threat that his wife and child would be executed were he to attempt to leave or go to the police. So before they could pull his funding and go through with their plans the Doctor injected himself with all the remaining serum, and when all the scientists in his building succumbed to the plague he escaped.
He managed to reach his wife and child however, by then his mind was already so rotted already he didn’t think of the consequences and in saving them he doomed them both. They withered and died in his arms as he cried out to them.
Devastated he stole an experimental containment suit and committed several high profile crimes before he was apprehended and sent to the Zig. Recently freed by Arachnos Dr. Ed P. Demik is now loose on the Rouge Isles.
Powers
A Human Plague
Dr. Epidemic’s body has completely rotten. Almost all of his bodily functions have ceased and his body is now only kept alive by the massive hive of bacteria and viruses that inhabit it. He wears a special containment suit that is designed to protect its wearer from disease, radiation, and impact. He instead uses it to contain his deadly miasma. He has fitted vents onto the gauntlets that allow him to expel the disease in corrosive infectious blasts.
Flight
Dr. Epidemic has fitted rocket boots of his own design to his containment suit allowing him to fly at subsonic speeds.
Abilities
Dr. Demik was a scientist before he became a supervillain. He still has his advanced knowledge in the fields of biochemistry and electronics. He uses this knowledge in his schemes and to improve his containment suit.
Vulnerabilities
Dr. Epidemic can be weakened or even killed by strong doses of antibiotics and anti viral chemicals, the infection is the only thing that keeps his body alive.
