Personality & Appearance

Ekali in public is calm and reserved, often picking and choosing his words before speaking them in ways that sometimes confuse the listener due to his phrasing. In normal interactions, he takes to being polite and showing feminine charm with a false smile and dainty posturing. With those he considers attractive, he may also exhibit a yearning, seductive persona to flirt, tease, or even woo his audience. This can all be easily turned when someone tests his temper, however, making him into a cold, cruel being. Beyond his facade to appear pleasant, he has little compassion or empathy toward others who he deems unimportant.

In private, Ekali is a much different creature. With his family, he has grown deeper emotions and unwavering patience for the ones concerned. He follows Luciana's wishes obediantly, and seeks to express his devotion constantly (though he feels more secure to do this when they are alone). To his daughters, Ekali firmly believes in obediance to the parents and is swift in disciplining them for wrong or improper decisions, but he has learned to provide them with love and guidance whenever possible. His demeaner is sincere and gentle for these select few, also causing Ekali to show expressions that no others would see.

Physically, Ekali's body has almost no resemblance to what a male human's form would look like. The naturally gray skin and full black lips are kept soft and umblemished and his blue hair, smudged with black, which continues to grow down from his scalp in silky waves. Certain flesh, like his tongue, carry a distinctly violet color. His facial features are small and rounded, showing his youthfulness. Solid black irises fill much of his eyes, leaving the pristine white to fill out the corners which are always surrounded by his signature black eyeshadow that streaks out into thin lines from the corners of his eyes and to his temples. For arms that have broken down walls, they appear thin, and his long legs that reach up to gentle curves. The organ that distinguishes Ekali's sex is kept hidden, however, by long skirts or jeans with plenty of room between each pants leg. This seems to be the only place where Ekali hides his "divinity" with moderation.

Powers

Though Ekali likes to speak of a god status, his given power is little more than a biological tinkerer. With incredible senses, he is able to see the world around him in individual atoms of elements and cells, his sense of smell allowing him to break down every fine detail of the air he breathes, and his hearing has instead turned from traditional hearing into a sense that simply detects the vibration of sound. Though taste and touch have also been granted the ability to perceive minute details, they have not had as profound of a change on the way Ekali has learned to respond to the world around him.

Each sense sends him uncanny amounts of information at every moment, but often it requires a great deal of focus to even understand the words of a speaker in a room full of noise. Smells become convoluted by other lesser scents, requiring effort as well to cipher out just what belongs to a particular item. Lastly, as his sight looks in close to every detail, he has lost some perception of the bigger picture. This is particularly the case in his sense of beauty, as he sees individual cells better than he is able to see the curves of a woman normally favored by men.

His better known powers of incredible strength and manipulation and even some creation of matter are one in the same. Having an understanding of matter in its finest details, Ekali has learned to control his own person. Each cell can be called upon with his control, moving them individually or compressing and filling them many times over to enhance their density and strength. Matter that is in immediate contact with these cells can also be manipulated, as if billions of tiny Ekalis were stepping out to absorb or manipulate the world around them. His method of creating matter is similar to the way a human would create anything else; the smallest components are taken, energy, and put together in pieces to create something for his use. Naturally, this and his power of controlling existing matter is heavily taxing to his energy. Since the consecutive acts of a Wrasynth Ksyamen and Hellfire Rose, Ekali lost his mysterious connection to an indefinite source of power and has since only been able to rely on the energy his body can take from other matter by the old but familiar processes of eating and drinking.

Even as Ekali has such great power over the physical world around him, he still has some realms that he does not control. Incapable of learning magic, Ekali is subjected to many of these arcane powers without any natural defenses of his own. Also, despite the power of his mind over matter and his ability to "see" electric currents passed along nerve cells, he is prone to those with powers over others' minds.
