Electra's particular race of Elves reaches maturity much like humans, growing till puberty at or between the age's of 16 and 18 years old. When this happens their aging process slows to a crawl, as generations of magical use has mutated their genome. Once and Elven boy or girl reaches puberty, they aging process slows to the point of only aging 1 year physically for every 6-7 years lived. This of course, relates to Elves of her race capable of living 399 to 574 years of age. Puberty, the extent of slow aging, and life-span of course vary depending on the person.
Electra's home world is a high-fantasy, sword and sorcery world. Given the designation, Sierra 4 4 9 Golf, by the Portal Corporation. Other members of her species, from alternate dimensions and parallel worlds are seen throughout Paragon City.
Bio follows below, currently there are only place holders that give general impressions of her life as it stands currently. These serve to give the writer, aka me, a chance to collect ideas and thoughts and still keep a solid storyline running.
From another time and place ((Background))
So many times in the history of Paragon City and the world, since the first super-humans arose to power, have beings from other worlds and other places made the journey across space time and dimension to our world. Most often these beings are curious, and drawn to the new found power of earth, and in some situations these beings are brought her from other dimensions via technology or magic. Namely the circle of thorns. Though we all know that every once in a while, a fluke brings the unwilling here by force. This is just what happened with a young Elven woman living in the Kingdom of Shilosh on the continent of Ora.
She grew up the only daughter to a wealthy and powerful mother and father. Both nobles in the Kingdoms court, her mother was a powerful Seer and her father a well known and sought after Sorcerer. her father saw to it that his only beloved daughter would have all the trappings of a noble birth and upbringing, sent to the best schools in the land. Taught to be a lady of the court, and soon to take in her father's footsteps as a Sorceress.
Young Electra was to be her father's greatest student, he was to teach her everything he knew to pass on his knowledge after his death. When old enough, Electra began studying with her father, and helping him with the creation of the first Teleport spell ever seen in the kingdom. Unfortunately, things did not go as planed and on the night of the ritual, while helping her father work on the spell young Electra was teleported away by accident. Never to be seen or heard from again.
Torn Away ((Coming to Paragon City, Primal Earth))
Never to be seen or heard from again, by those of her Homeworld and dimension. Through miscalculation and mistake her father had accidentally sent young Electra to Primal Earth. The young Elf girl suddenly found herself on the back streets of a strange land of gleaming monstrous buildings and technology she had never seen before. This was in the Year 1990. (wip)
