Emerald Dervish was created by Akutenshiizero for the sole purpose of playing a true villain. Having seen the "misunderstood" villains, the player wants to remind the CoV community of what it means to be evil. Also, the player wishes to RP a mysterious character who's most powerful weapon is manipulating others. Akutenshiizero enjoys being diabolical.

Personality
Emerald Dervish is a smooth-talking, eloquent, and utterly devious subject. In fact, one could assume that if you have spent more than five minutes speaking to him, he has probably already planned what you will be coerced into doing and how he will kill you afterwards. He also has a habit of knowing everything about a person without asking a single question, despite the fact that he shows no psychic abilities. He is a mystery wrapped in an enigma, and what little information is known was only divulged because he intended it. He seems relatively indifferant towards angels, demons, or aliens, however he seems to despise humans, mutants, or anything that was once human. These he simply calls "Adam's Seed".
Powers
By nature, Djinn have a level of power most mortals will never comprehend. However, being present on this plane of existance has limited Dervish's abilities immensely. Thus far, he has been witnessed shapeshifting into black sand and conjuring objects, and it is rumored that he is capable of teleportation. Aside from this, differant observations have lead to some highly unusual results. Technological scans have identified an energy field similar to a dimensional rift, while attempts at psychic readings show that there is no mind present. Magic users tend to get a foreboding feeling, as though his power is something entirely unknown to this world. Most people will have a strange feeling while attempting to study him, as though he is clearly visable yet does not exist.
"True Form"
For the most part, Emerald Dervish appears to be a man of middle-eastern decent. However, one who understands djinn must realize this is not their natural appearance. Being a shapeshifter by nature, it is speculated he has a distinctly less human appearance concealed beneath this disguise, yet none have seen it.
Story
Dr. Emir Jahannam
Shortly after Dervish's appearance in the Rogue Isles, this man surfaced as well. He is a surgeon, operating in Sharkhead Isle. Thus far, the only thing unusual about him is his taste for the arcane, and his secret interest in the Midnight Squad.
In reality, this man is Emerald Dervish. Dr. Jahannam's kind, generous mannerisms are a stark contrast to his true identity. The motive for his involvement with the Midnight Squad is currently unknown.
OOC Notes
- The character is somewhat based on The Operative from Serenity. Through RP and bio reading, he will label individuals according to the seven deadly sins.
- It seems unlikely that the player will ever release any art of Dervish, as he is entirely incapable of drawing chains.
