Fourth Twilight
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
Fourth Twilight is the Alias adopted by a young boy named Albert Lee Baker IV. Once a boy genius, his wreckless inventing and tendency to dive headfirst into his projects without a second thought ruined his life. Now, with the help of his robotic pets, he has donned the mantle of the Fourth Twilight, a living battery of dark energy. Image-fourthtwilight.jpg

Personality
Fourth is dark and morbid. He constantly struggles to control the energy that makes it's home in his body and it causes a constant depression. He has tried on multiple occasions to kill himself, the darkness saving him in the nick of time. His energy is based on his emotions so it is easy to tell his mood by the fluidity of his speech. He had adopted a few friends, whom he tries to develop a strong bond with in order to control the darkness through his emotions. He once had a bright outlook on life, though now it has turned into a dark and twisted one. He enjoys nothing more than killing those whom do not deserve to die, and he has no idea why. His emotions and personality seem to be fading as each day progresses, and as he progresses into his darkness.
History
He was born a normal child, and as he grew up one would never suspect that this child would be anything other than a success. He was a prodigy child, skilled in all things intellectual. He loved more than anything else science and inventing. In this he created several machines and works of cybernetic genius. He created robots and other machines that would have surely worked if he had been given access to a proper energy source. The boy went to a small private school, in Texas. He had only heard about Paragon city and it's great heroes through news stories and other such mediums. His loves included such things as telling his friends all about his several theories that he had developed through the ages, but only one of his friends ever listened. That friend was named Andy and was his best friend. His other friends criticized his ideas and could have cared less. Andy would always listen. That was until Andy's most recent of girlfriends took over his life for him. She hated Lee's ideas and said they were unchristian and had no theological foundation. They didn't need theological foundation he would always argue, but to no avail. Andy stuck with her, other than him. This still haunts Lee to this day.
One day he discovered and founded the Twilight Theory. A theory stating that there was another universe that existed between the very fabric of ours that contained an untapped energy source. This energy he thought could run entire cities for over a hundred years without depleting. He then devised a machine he deemed a Twilight Teleporter. This would send him to the Twilight Dimension as he called it for exactly one minute. This would have been enough time to scoop up a good amount of the energy and then make it back to our universe. The Teleporter to his surprise worked. The one minute he was in the Twilight Dimension was the most agonizing one minute of his life. He had forgotten to calculate the risk of being in this dimension and had forgotten to create a suit for himself that would protect him from the energy. It consumed his body and then made it's home inside of him. He had combined with the energy. He discovered the Energy overwhelming him and because he now found himself constantly in danger of losing his body into the dark energy, he deemed it sentient. He believed and still does that he is the host of this energy in our world. It changed him and his outlooks on life became dark and distopian. The energy also changed him physically. It ate up most of the pigment in his skin making it chalk white, and filled his eyes, making them look like an abyss.
Within the week he found himself delving deeper into a depression. He tried to tell his friend Andy about it, but his controlling girlfriend shunned Lee, calling him possessed by an evil spirit. He lost control to the darkness strangled her with his own two hands, right infront of Andy. When he came too he was horrified as to what he had done, yet at the same time it felt good. He immediately ran home, the darkness carrying under his feet and his figure flying above the clouds. He captured his own darkness in small amounts and used it to power his machines. His robots and an old Pulse Rifle that he had built. He fashioned himself a costume out of a pair of Bondage pants and the top to an old Halloween outfit he had, sewing a four on the front. He also took an old mask and donned it as well. His final invention, a supercomputer belt with an eyeplate computer screen finished his costume. From that day on, Lee was no longer and all that stood in his place was Fourth Twilight. A teenage renegade running from the law and himself. He says the main reason he ran away was so he did not accidentally kill his parents, but he is unsure if that is the real reason or not.
He was eventually arrested and sent to the Zig. He managed to build a couple of scrap robots and escape during the Arachnos breakout. He developed a more professional looking costume. Not too long after his escape he ran into a girl named Autumn whom offered him a home and a job at a bar called In the Loop.
Powers and Gadgets
His powers consist of control of a strange dark energy that he can manipulate into a weapon or healing property, but he mainly hides behind his machines which he uses this same darkness to fuel.
He also can also push the darkness under him, allowing him flight. He is currently trying to use to the dark energy to increase his physical attributes.
Twilight Theory
Twilight Theory, which Lee invented, states that in between every molocule of our dimension rests an opposing anti-molocule that contains a powerful energy signature. By looking at the large value of these together it forms a universe on the other side of ours that contains this energy. By creating a device that can momentarily flip over the molocules we can enter this universe. By harnessing this energy signature that rests in this dimension we can power any city for up to, but not limited to one hundred years.
