Beginnings

Terrence was trained in an area high upon a mountain in China, right across the stream from a temple of Shaolin monks. Master Hijima taught Terrence the ancient ways of the ninja, putting him through many years of rigorous hand-to-hand combat, swordplay, kunai and shuriken throwing, proper and improper use of grappling hooks, and the ancient secret that is Ninja Magic. After years of training, growing, and getting stronger, Terrence was finally ready to say goodbye to his master and his old life, taking to the streets of Japan as an assassin-for-hire. He received his first job, to kill a powerful martial artist who'd been causing trouble for a local Yakuza crimelord. So Terrence took to a local anime con under the completely coincidental and entirely accidental guise of Kakashi Hatake, finding his target awkwardly enough dressed in the guise of Naruto Uzamaki. Terrence acted swiftly, critically wounding the man within seconds in one quick swoop. He moved to close the eyes of his target, realizing only too late that he'd just slain his own master. What's more, the man was alive long enough to look at him before passing. Terrence had dishonored himself in two regards. He fled the convention and Japan.

Drifting

In the years to come, Terrence became a drifter, traveling much of the world and having many exciting adventures before deciding to stay in the Rogue Isles. In his adventures, he only grew stronger, mastering other weaponry, learning more Ninja Magic, and learning the use of scrolls. He furthermore earned the scar over his eye in a climactic battle between himself and a high undead demon lord plaguing a small town in Thailand. Terrence fought with him to the point of near exhaustion, finally receiving a second wind from the memory of a special person quite dear to him. He used his Ninja Magic to climactically and dramatically blow the demon away. But I won't get too into that.

The Rogue Isles

Terrence mae himself a dwelling in an old, run-down building in Marconeville, Port Oakes. He took many jobs during his stay, killing many, many targets for cold hard cash. His skills grew, though nobody outside of the underground learned of his name. Finally, after a long assassination, Terrence received word that somebody was buying his hideout. Enfuriated, he snuck into the establishment to kill the owner and take back his hideout. However, when Terrence discovered that it was an Italian restaurant being constructed, he revealed himself to Don Giordano, an already-completed job application in hand.

...Why?

Terrence wound up working for the man he aimed to kill. The man who'd stolen his home had become his employer. But why? Terrence has always been fond of the culinary arts, which shows as he can generally be seen after hours in the kitchen with the chefs, learning new recipes and watching them cook. He is a fine waiter and a finer employee. Taking pride in his work, he cleans up, washes dishes, and seats customers without a single complaint. He knows a wide variety of wines and such, granting him the ability to provide quality service to the customer.
