Personality

(( Glyph Guard is not one to give up, and will fight to her very last breath if it's needed. She is generally laid back and at ease, cracking jokes every so often, but she is serious when she needs to be. She always tries to help other heroes if possible, even if it gets her in some dangerous situations. Another thing, even though it doesn't seam it here, her Dad is a very touchy subject.))

Introduction to Magic

When I was a kid, my family always seemed pretty strange. They were gone for hours at a time sometimes, and were very secretive, even with me. At age 11, they told me they spent that time practicing Egyptian magic, and invited me to join them. At first I thought they were kidding, because this sounded a lot like a joke my brother or sister would play. Simply wanting to see what they might've set up to further the prank, I said that I would like to watch one of their practices. Let me tell you here, it was most definitely not a joke. Turns out my family has been studying Egyptian magic for generations! Who knew?!When it was time to pick my path, I chose The Path of Horus, because, honestly, he was the only figure from Egyptian mythology that I recognized.

Training Changes

The magic training went on, sometimes exhausting but always rewarding. At the age of 14, both my brother and sister "graduated", leaving me to study magic with my parents alone. Soon afterward, when I was 15, things changed. Dad came home one day, obviously nervous. I still to this very day do not know why. But that's not the point. From then on, things changed a lot in magic training. He would get mad at me if I couldn't complete a spell the first time, and he often put me in life or death situations. It went on like that for two more years, and then he just up and died. I honestly don't think it was natural. Someone did it, someone who was the cause of his anxiety, if I had to guess.

A big Decision

Soon after Dad died, Mom decided we had to move. She said it was to get away from the memories of Dad, but I think whatever anxiety bug that got my Dad got my Mom, too. When we got to Paragon, I was faced with another life-deciding choice. I could become a hero, or just stay a normal citizen. Let me tell you, it was a really tough decision for me. In the end I chose to be a Hero, because of Mom. Not that she wanted me to become a Hero, she was completely neutral. No, I chose to be a hero to protect Mom from whatever got Dad, because as a hero I could gain experience and become a stronger Magician.

A unique kind of magic

In training, I made up my own form of egyptian magic. I did so because I honestly was not good at formal egyptian combat magic, If I tried to summon my Avatar for instance, only half of my body would be encoated in the armor. Instead, I made a form based on it, in that you summon energy and condense it into solid material. My form of magic deals more with attacking than actual combat magic, actually. Using this, I also have a limited amount of "Telekinesis" in that I can form a energy pocket around items and freely move the energy, moving the item with it.

Armor

The armor I currently wear is solid energy. Now, I know you're saying, "What!? I thought you said you were no good at energy armor!" And you're right. I'm not. This is different it doesn't drain my magic as I am fighting, as it is a completely solid object, not much different then man made things, actually.
