After months of recuperation both Daniel and Monarch realised what had happened and after extensive testing decided that Daniel would become a costumed crime fighter under the auspices of Monarch Racing. After much preparation and training Daniel went out to make the world a safer place and ended up making quite the name for himself. Some call him a hero, others call him a celebrity, but ultimately, they all call him Grand Prix! |

Before becoming a superhero Daniel Michaels was a test driver for an up and coming racing company named Monarch Racing. After a disastrous accident on the track, the experimental fuel the company was testing activated the latent meta-gene within Daniel's DNA.
