Overview
Everyone screws up from time to time. Heaven, being the bureaucracy that it is, is not an exception. This is what happens to someone that gets on the wrong side of their red tape, however.
Character Background
Howard Saren was many things. An all-star quarterback in school, a war hero, a passionate husband and loving father of three. What he wasn't was a rapist. Though, after he passed at the ripe old age of 78, that is exactly what entry control in Heaven thought he was. Unwilling to hear him out (Everyone knows that the damned will say ANYTHING to avoid their fate), he was cast down to processing in hell. The demons their realized immediately what had happened, but didn't care, instead processing Howard in as the rapist he was confused for. As with most rapists, hell's punishment for them was to have their skin torn off, and then replaced with the skin of a female demon. After it attached and changed them into actual demonesses, they were loosed onto the streets of hell for the enjoyment of all the other demons. Renamed 'Arithalea', Howard was abandoned on the street. It took heaven nearly 5 months to realize their mistake and send a recovery team to reclaim Howard. They found that he was no longer anywhere near the person he was before. Arithalea has also given herself willingly to a demon lord as a patron; the bargain was that she would be faitful only to him, and he would get her off the street and teach her to defend herself and use her demonic abilities. This, of course, made problems for the extraction team, seeing as she was now bound by a demonic contract. Finally, after much negotiation and threats, the two sides agreed on letting her come back to Earth and live a new life, seeing where she will end up. Heck awoke laying in a pile of trash in Mercy, and has since become a reckless nuisance to anyone she meets.
Personality
After the time spent in hell, being forced upon by all manner of demons and devils, not much of Howard remains anymore. Having to adapt to survive, Heck is now more of a creature of the pit, and will lapse into "Succubi Mode" at the slightest provocation. She is also instinctively submissive to greater demons, as they were often the ticket off the streets in hell.
Powers/Tactics
Super Strength
Thanks to the densely-packed muscle cells of demonic physiology, as well as Heck's rampant disregard for any sort of finesse to her fighting, all of her blows are powerful and to the point. She sends foe flying with a solid punch, and can even cause small earthquakes when she punches the ground.
Fire Aura
Demonic physiology also allows Heck to utilize her abundant ATP to power actual chemical reactions in her cells, wreathing her body in flames that can burn others. She is also highly resistant to other people's fire attacks as well, shrugging them off easily. She is also able to suck the heat out of nearby foes, replenishing her ATP supply as well.
Other Powers
Her strong leg muscles allow Heck to jump long distances. Her wings are large and unwieldy, having been granted to her only for the pain they cause when Heck first tried to escape her tormentors only to fall back down into their grasps.
Goals/Motivations
As of right now, Heck is just drifting aimlessly about the rogue islands and Paragon, doing whatever she wants. It remains to be seen if anyone cares enough to try and steer her soul back for redemption.

- John Puller (Free Mag): After having met John while stalking around Pocket D, Heck may have found a person willing to treat her with kindness and possibly salvage her soul. Of course, he is also a dangerous psychopath and may just be using her. Only time will tell.
