A brief summery

((As taken from the in-game ID))

An ancient guardian of magic from eons passed, Thanat has been re-awakened by the recent villainous uprising, having felt a disturbance in the very balance of magic. Sent as a guardian and protector of all those whom enforce the use of sorcerous arts, and as a general peacekeeper, Thanat has joined the heroic forces of Earth. Embodying Justice and Judgement, Thanath is willing to enforce the magical and ethical laws, even if it comes down to using brute force, which he is very proficiant in using. His soul infused with the very will of order and enforcement, his morality clear and his will unwavering, Thanat serves both the Pantheon (in particular his creator, Athena) and the heroic community.

The Origin

(( The Narrative shall be given in the third person, in-direct. If you feel there are any plot-holes, please inform me and do keep in mind that I am always seeking to expand and rectify from the source material))

Eons ago, the Earth was walked upon by mighty denizens of Myth, magical beasts and brutes , powerful entities and warriors, people capable of great power and mighty Gods that ruled over all of this. Amongst them these creatures, some chose to take up roles that leave them in service to the Gods while some were created for that sole purpose. Thanat was amongst a very small and low-brow group of minotaurs that served the Gods, his own devotion lying with the Goddess Athena. Upon reaching adulthood, as par common purpose, he set off alone into the world to uphold the will of his chosen matron, and in return receive her influence and blessings. Years went by, and trial after trial earned him further renown with the Goddess, until he found himself overpowered one day by a mighty army of sea-snakes, powerful and poisonous beasts that ravaged and overpowered him. His death - messy as it was, was not permanent. He found himself awakening many years later, having been brought back by his Goddess after agreeing to a will - to serve and protect in her name in return for his own life. A contract was formed - whenever he is required, he is re-incarnated after a period of time, returning in order to help bring Law to a world lacking it, helping to maintain the balance in civilization.

Now, over two-thousand years after his first re-incarnation, he has returned in order to help the super-hero society in order to maintain Order within the world, seeking to help regain a bit of the lost balance. While his return is triumphant and his will strong, his sense of duty wavers a tad, tired from his countless returns and deaths, wanting nothing more then to be free to fend for himself, and perhaps rest in peace. After consoling with the Pantheon, he has made a deal - his freedom will come IF he helps return this part of the world to a sufficiant state of order. Then, he shall be given the choice to live a normal life, or ascend into Olympus.

                                                                             (( - more to come! - ))
