Begin Titan Corps Case File, Subject #00231
Dr. Lazarus Hawkner, alias Kinetron, is an amoral scientific genius, a prodigy of invention who feels he was wronged by those who claim to serve the good of all people. He appears to be a campaigner for "Parahuman Rights" going to the extent of terrorist actions for the sake of his cause. He is a Corruptor-class Villain who uses powerful energy blasts and his amazing ability to manipulate ambient energy currents. Using this power he can drain his foes of their life force, strength and even their speed.
Description
A fairly tall, well-built humanoid figure. Kinetron's face is the only recognisably human portion of his body. He is devoid of hair, his skin is pallid and deathly, and malevolent eyes stare from sunken, dark sockets. His cheeks are scarred, mementoes of his death, and all over his face is criss-crossed with glowing blue maintenance channels that supply him with energy.
His body is composed totally of a black metal which cuts away to a glowing blue core. The metal is almost liquid to the touch, like mercury, yet maintains solid consistency. Energy constantly falls from his body unless he makes the effort of sealing his core.
Recently on some raids on Paragon he has taken to crafting his mutable body into sleek red armour, regal accoutrements and a golden crown. This is assumed to be a symptom of his growing megalomania, his perceived role as "ruler of Parahuman kind."
History
Lazarus Hawkner was born in Emeritus City, the scientific hub of southern England. As a boy he showed a strong aptitude for electronics and gadgetry and was indulged by his parents - allowed long hours and many parts to build what he wanted. And build he did - from alarms and buzzers to labour saving devices and eventually a working car.
His official education followed the same accelerated track as the development of his considerable mind, taking accelerated study programs, collecting degrees like trading cards in his search for knowledge. Now Dr. Hawkner, he soon found a job working as a material physicist for one of the largest technological firms in England, CoreTech, and within a span of a mere 10 years was promoted to head researcher of the company's latest branch in Aeon City, Cap Au Diable.
Within a few years, the secret project the Rogue Isles branch were working on came to fruition thanks in no small part to Hawkner's brilliance - an amazing new substance termed "Mutable alloy," or Morphite.
Tech Profile: Morphite
Morphite is a chemical solution, an alloy of unknown metals and substances. The only current extant sample is in the possession of the Class A threat Villain Kinetron.
Based on field accounts of Titan Corps agents who have had the misfortune to meet Kinetron in combat, Morphite is capable of completely altering its molecular structure at a moment's notice, becoming a perfect absorption and channelling medium for various forms of energy with almost total efficiency, changing its colour, structure and size, and even harnessing ambient energy to give the amazing effect of actually generating new molecules.
Its energetic properties give Kinetron his power, and its ability to reform his entire body from even a small scrap of the fluid metal makes him essentially invincible.
Origin
The Morphite breakthrough occurred, to Hawkner's labs ignorance, in full violation of Paragon Federation technological advancement and scientific ethical laws. When negotiations with CoreTech failed, it was decided that the best plan of action was to contact a Longbow strike force to sterilise the lab, given the intense danger posed by the amazing metal.
A time was picked when all the lab employees were believed to be back at home. Little did the force know as they set up their charges that Dr Hawkner was working late, perfecting the manipulation of the metal.
The force of the explosion incinerated all data pertaining to the metal and destroyed all computer records and simulations. Unfortunately, Dr. Hawkner was also completely engulfed in the explosion. Though the process is not known, it is surmised that the signals from his ruined nerves caused the Morphite sample to begin to bond to his body.
What is known is that when the strike team started to explore the ruins of the lab they were attacked.

"What did you see when you started exploring the lab?"
-Ackermann sounds audibly shaken-
"Nothing, at first. It was just a pile of rubble. Jones started lifting some pieces of masonry off what looked like a computer, and... and..."
"Go on, Sergeant."
"Jesus, it was like a man made of black liquid metal. It had this burned, ruined face and it was just screaming, screaming. I can still hear it. It jumped Jones, and... I don't know, Jesus, it like engulfed him. When it got off him..."
-Ackermann chokes a little. He continues uncertainly-
"Jones looked like a mummy or some shit. Like his body had been sucked out, fuck, just skin on bone left."
"And that THING, that fuckin' thing, pulled itself together... The head fixed itself up, stopped screaming... We fired, of course. Bullets hit it, left holes. Thing just pulled the holes back together like pulling a dent out of a car. It grabbed Wilson and sucked HIM dry too and it started glowing, pulsing out energy or something."

"That's okay sergeant. Thank you for your time. Nurse, see him out."
Current Whereabouts
Dr. Hawkner is currently believed to reside in Cap Au Diable in the Rogue Isles. Titan Corps personnel have confirmed a person matching his description giving lectures at Aeon University under the guise of "Dr. Ascended." His lectures are split between scientific theory and material physics, and an area of study he calls "The Parahuman Condition." His lectures are well-attended if infrequent and are passionately presented.
He is believed to maintain a lab and base of sorts somewhere underground the city, funded by criminal contacts and materials and products released under full known violation of Paragon Federation laws. Here he develops weapons and plans for his various schemes, makes upgrades to his suit and often houses members of NOVA, his parahuman terrorist organisation. Several expeditions have been made to find the lab but no agents have ever returned.
Kinetron makes frequent trips into Paragon City to carry out his plans. He normally enters through more discrete channels, but on occasion takes pride in a more theatrical entrance. Though he normally leaves the carrying out of his plans to his minions her personally leads terrorist strikes on what he considers to be large or important targets.
