Previous Affiliations
Background
Kathrine and Sniper are products of Crey experimentations. While Sniper's exact origin is unknown, Kathrine's is known as Sniper as given her bits of pieces of information regarding her creation and first few years of her life. Kathrine was made and grown in a Crey Lab, and whether part of the master plan or just a flight of fancy was made in the likeness of a Catgirl to some extent, having a tail and ears of a feline which do function correctly to give her increased balance and hearing. She doesn't remember her time before waking up in an orphanage funded by Longbow for meta-humans. Sniper hasn't revealed what she went through, and as admitted to those able to hear him beside Kat that he will not. Kathrine grew up in the orphanage for eight years, and was eventually released to pursue her own path as both a super-hero and a hyper active creature of fun and happiness, with very little seemingly able to dampen her cheeriness. She joined the Guardian Angels and was active with them for a year or so taking care of the less fortunate and less heard of people of Paragon. She also took up a job teaching at the Steel Canyon University as a Physic teacher, being a walking living example of the laws of physic and quantum-mechanics in action. For much of the first half of the year 2010, she been abroad the states learning and attending various science conventions and course as well as visiting CERN in Europe. She only recently returned to Paragon City much out of fighting form and relearning her fighting skills and learning to use some new ones.
Kathrine and Sniper
Kathrine
Kathrine is in a sense, a construct. She ages, she she has fears, loves, and can feel. But she isn't technically alive, just an experiment Crey cooked up. Her basic body chemistry is similar to any other human, and in fact one couldn't tell the difference till you got down to how her body functions differently than humans. She doesn't need to eat for starters. She lives off of cookies and other sugary goodness because she lives off of kinetic energy. Her body takes everything around her and that she eats to produce the kinetics to keep her alive. The control for her body is Sniper. Separate them more than ten feet and the result is quick and efficient in making Kathrine begin to break down and die from an inability to produce internal kinetics as her hyper metabolism slows down to nothing. Currently, she suffers from excessive energy making her far more hyper and cheerful than normal, and giving her a soft red aura or discharging kinetics to keep her from overloading. Her personality is also one of happiness, and her nativity often leaves her clueless and begging for an answer to something that was said. Her talents besides minor ability to create and somewhat control flames amplified by her control of kinetics is art, physics and chemistry.
Sniper
The guardian, the protector, the watcher, the control. Sniper is Kathrine's primary link to life. Without him, her metabolism would stop, and figuring she recovered from that, her powers would be gone, as Sniper is the amplification and focus of her powers, having been design by Crey to be the controlling factor over Kathrine. He is silent, normally only talking to Kat via ESP like abilities. There conversations are often fast pace and can easily be picked up by anyone with the psychic ability.
Powers
What she is
Kathrine is not a normal human. She looks, acts, and has the feelings of a normal human. Granted she tends to act very childish the majority of the time along with being overly hyper. Her body doesn't bleed, it isn't alive. It is just biomass given life, kept sustained through kinetic energies. As such, any and all attacks directed at her have an odd side effect. They don't physical hurt her. They just get broken down centimeters to millimeters from her skin into its kinetic forces and then absorbed into her. To much, and she overloads, causing her enough pain to incapacitate her for a time, and sometimes active the mediport.
Fire Control
Kathrine has a latent innate ability that is hers and hers alone. She can control fire in any form and shape. It's a weak talent, but hers and one she is very proud of and loves. She can hurl small flames or balls of heat at people, to igniting a large bonfire combined with the combine kinetics of her and Sniper to knock people and things about.
Kinetics
Kathrine and Sniper when working together have almost unlimited control over all kinetic energies in sight. They can induce hyper kinetics in people to speed them up, strength their blows, or force them to expel a form of healing energy to help her friends. The other side, she can take it from people, slowing them down, weakening them, evening the odds. She also has found ways to combine it with her flames, to create waves of flames that knock people back, animate creatures of fire, or lock them down in place.
