  Public Identity

Krotus' public identity is Jackson Farrow, victim of a Fifth Column experiment, whose brain was housed inside an android body. There was an interview by line on page seven of the Paragon Times, where Farrow stated that the only thing he regrets about the experience is being unable to have children. Other than that, he suffers from phantom itches.

This is all a well planned front. in actuality, he's the Fifth Column scientist that designed the experiment: Wilheim Friedrich Wettin von Dresden.

  History

Wilheim Friedrich Wettin von Dresden is the bastard son of Frederick Augustus III: last King of Saxony. His mother, Renate, was one of his house maids. After his birth in 1930, he and his mother were sent to Dresden during the rise of the National Socialist party. His birth was recorded in Dresden after they arrived. He actually served in the German Army from 1942 to 1945 as a Nazi Youth mail carrier in Berchtesgaden, inside the Postamt.

After the fall of the Third Reich, "Wilheim von Dresden" disappeared for many years as he helped in the stabilization of the original Fifth Column, during the chaos and scramble in hiding from Allied forces, and later the Cold War.

During this time, he interned with many other scientists who escaped capture from Russian and U.S. forces. They quickly learned that their 'coffee boy' had the temerity and intelligence to both learn their skills, as well as utilize them. Young Wilheim was reclassified within the Column, and spent his late teens and his twenties learning from their scientific base. He worked secretly with Gröttrup in the development of multi stage rockets, before Gröttrup's kidnapping to the USSR, which later resulted in the launch of Sputnik 1.

von Dresden assisted Othman Doul (Vandal) in the development of the early models of the Steel Valkyries and Mek Men. After becoming disillusioned with Doul taking credit for his work, von Dresden began his own project to extend his own life. Labeled the KROTUS project, he worked with captured Clockwork Tesla Knights and Vahzilok Eidolons in an attempt to incorporate them with his Mek Man designs. His goal was to place his own brain within the android.

The KROTUS project came to fruition as the Council made its bid to overthrow the Column. Lacking alternatives, he had his minions place his brain inside the android before final tests could be run. As the Column and Council raged a street war in Steel Canyon, his new body laid dormant inside a warehouse. This is where a band of heroes found him, and he was taken to the D.A.T.A labs in Atlas Park. There, he was studied, examined, and activated. He was conscious throughout his 'rescue' and examination, and adopted the name Jack Farrow whom he had overheard had disappeared. When he had convinced the D.A.T.A. technicians of his identity, he registered himself as a hero. His first action as such was to locate and assassinate the real Jack Farrow, who at this point had been captured by the Vahzilok.

He is currently biding his time until he can get in touch with his former contacts, who he has learned have all gone to the Rogue Isles. Those that didn't and defected to the Council are dead to him... or will be.
