Background:

Born to Emily and Michael Gregory in 1990, Lacey was considered a miracle baby due to the enormous amount of complications in the birth. He was however born healthy and on time, despite the doctors saying he wouldn't be. There was absolutely nothing impressive about his early childhood, and if there was no one has told him. However as he entered Elementary School, it became apparent to him that he wasn't completely normal, he in fact had a very androgynous, if not completely feminine, appearance and name. This sparked years of being picked on by kids of all ages, so much that his father Michael Gregory had to teach him to defend himself. The only children who wouldn't pick on him were the girls, who considered him one of them. And so he spent most of his formative years around girls, picking up feminine habits that made him seem even more girlish.

It was in High School that things began to change. On his Seventeenth Birthday his mother gave him a deck of cards that created illusions, as well as his family on his mother's side having the ability to manipulate air currents. Still, he had no idea of the truth behind his birth, and so he went happily unaware of his divine heritage even as he stepped in to City Hall to get his Hero License. From there he sort of drifted around a little, eventually dating a girl who was good to him at face value, but wasn't good for him. This relationship eventually led to his death.

It was unsurprising to him however, when he was pulled away from Heaven back to the material world by his girlfriend and one of her girlfriend's, whom was a demon. This demon was to resurrect him as a female succubus in order to keep his life going. When he found this out after the resurrection, that he was now half-demon, he took it in stride, as if he already knew it would happen. The truth is he met his true father in Heaven, the Archangel Michael himself. They had a discussion about what would happen to him on Earth, and there were no promises of a happy ending. Lacey was allowed to choose to heed the call of the innocent and go to Earth to protect humanity, or stay in Heaven where life would be happier, but it would be quite a long time before he would be allowed to fight. He chose to go to Earth, and Michael smiled and let him go.

When Lacey arrived, he was a she, as well as half-angel, half-demon. So she traveled for some time, not really enjoying life, but working hard to understand her place in it. One day he met a girl that went by the name Project Coin; she was a nervous, almost sad girl who went through some sort of change. In the process of helping her out of her depression, the two quickly fell for one another, and were soon engaged to one another. They spent a great deal of time around one another, but then Lacey's ex-girlfriend lied to Project Coin, telling her that Lacey was sleeping around on her, following up with a promise that she'd take care of her no matter what. And so Project Coin followed her and left Lacey alone by herself.

For a long time Lacey once again drifted, feeling as if she had lost the love of her life. She saw other people sure, but none of them were anything like Coin was. Finally, they met once again, while Lacey was on a date with her girlfriend at the time. Despite Lacey's anger and depression from being broken up with, she saw Coin was in need and decided to help her once again. Soon after Lacey left her girlfriend to be with Coin once again, who had been completely ditched and used by Lacey's ex-girlfriend. During this time Lacey was helping out a number of Super Groups with whatever they needed help with, acting almost as a mercenary for the right cause. Lacey and Coin had a somewhat turbulent relationship early on, due to Coin's pregnancy and Lacey's jealousy and paranoia. The two soon broke up once again. However, everything changed one day when Lacey was seriously injured in a fight with a demon.

She was taken to The Youth League Medical bay, who she was working for at the time, and her grievous wounds were treated through both magical and mundane means. And then, as Lacey fully healed, her father granted her the removal of all curses and mental blocks on her power. The female gender she was given upon her resurrection, was nothing more than a humorous demonic curse, and so once again he was male, as he always felt he belonged. Feeling a great degree of guilt and a need to protect Project Coin, he sought her out and once again they were dating, although still turbulently. It came as no surprise to many though when the two were soon wed, having finally conquered their past struggles and hardships to make a loving and caring relationship between both of them. Unknown to Lacey though, there are some complications with Coin's daughter that neither of them are aware of.

Still, Lacey fights on, the Archangel of the Innocent who protects all those who are innocent of their crimes, pure of heart, and those weaker than himself. Truly, Lacey Michael Gregory has proven himself to be a man of virtue.
