Liora Kate
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe

Appearance
Liora is short and fairly childish-looking, standing all of four feet tall and with a figure like a particularly flat ironing board. Of course, any illusion that she might be a child is quickly dispelled by the rest of her appearance. While one eye is brown and fairly normal, the other is yellow with a vertical slit for a pupil. Two small horns stick out of her hair, and her hands have stomata that only open to fire out bursts of usually-flaming gel. Her teeth are mismatched and mostly needle-sharp, like she replaced her natural ones as she could find suitably pointy replacements, and her fingers end in claws.
And then there's the armor, which she's usually wearing in public. A grey, chitinous exoskeleton with wings and a barbed tail, which seems, for all intents, to be alive. It shifts around and gurgles at times, particularly when blood lands on it.
Personality
Liora is the smartest, prettiest, and awesomest around. Just ask her. Not only does she intend to try taking over the universe, but she feels fully entitled to do so. After all, nobody else is taking the risks she does every day to upgrade themselves, so she'll obviously end up better than anybody else in the existence if she just keeps at it.
She's also a bit of a transhumanist in her obsessive drive to upgrade herself, and she has very little interest in anybody even vaguely resembling a normal human. Cyborgs and other people who've willfully changed their bodies through technology, magic, or science are a-okay in her book, especially ones who see themselves as above regular humans. While her own self-upgrade efforts run the gamut from aesthetic changes to combat abilities, she's obsessed with weaponry. The more weapons somebody has built into themselves, the better.
All of those changes to herself don't leave her much time for hobbies. Liora really only has three pasttimes--blowing stuff up, building stuff, and eating stuff. Usually, but not always, it's the same 'stuff' in all three categories. She'll also hang around the Pocket D now and then, whether lurking in the rafters all sneaky-like or eating trash to get her fix of glass and aluminum.
Powers
Liora's only naturally-known powers are regeneration coupled with high pain tolerance, though this has been plenty enough for her. The regeneration gives her just enough of an edge to upgrade her body entirely through trial and error, a process that she seems endlessly fascinated with. While she's not exactly a savant in any field, enough chances to get things right mean that eventually, she usually finds some solution to her problems--whether it's installing a GPS in her abdomen or etching runes of warding on her bones.
This, coupled with her neverending drive to better herself, has led to dozens of upgrades. The primary two are her magically-derived ability to control the stone around her and alterations to her body to make her able to biologically produce a substance similar to napalm. This is in addition to an ever-changing array of features based on her whimsy, from decorative horns or spines to a self-destruct system in her ribcage.
Weaknesses
Liora's regeneration gives her a naturally high metabolism, and the dozens of odd prosthetics she's given herself require plenty of more exotic materials. She's modified herself to be able to digest almost anything to compensate for this, but she doesn't do well in environments without a wide variety of materials to snack on.
In addition to being headstrong, impatient, and proud, Liora also isn't all too bright. Most of her 'inventions' are made through trial and error coupled with numerous explosions, and usually use large pieces salvaged from enemies anyway. Faced with a challenge requiring any modicum of true skill in any field, her only real option is usually to blow it up until it stops being a challenge. ... and faced with a challenging project that she wants to build, she usually just ends up blowing herself up.
History
Liora woke up in a gutter in Paragon one day, next to a particularly exploded building, rather bloody and with no memories. Her lack of memories has never really bothered her... the way she figures it, she just had a particularly bad accident while trying to invent something and gave herself an explosion to the head. She quickly healed back up, and soon figured out that she probably wasn't a human--and certainly not a normal one even if she were. With no home or contacts, it wasn't long before the now-homeless girl ran into Paragon's criminal elements, and she was soon armed to the teeth with 'donations' from unlucky thugs who'd tried to rob a regenerator.
Rather than become a hero, Liora just kept stockpiling weapons, soon taking up the chain of self-upgrades that she's continued to this day. After a series of robberies of magic stores, weapon shops, research labs, and doctors' offices, the girl finally landed in jail before being busted out by Arachnos. Since then, she's continued to grow in power, now in the Rogue Isles, and taken up the project of building her own system similar to Recluse's Web, a magic-technology hodepodge she calls the Entheogenerator that's intended to direct all worship in the Rogue Isles to her and elevate her to the status of a god. So far, it's mostly succeeded in blowing up the warehouse she was assembling it in.
