Motivation

Justin is motivated mostly through his deep seated insecurity in himself and what he is along with the wishes of his friends and parents, who want him to make the most of his 'gifts'.

Personality

Justin tends to be fairly easygoing. He's quite aware that his size alone would mark him out in a crowd. His appearance tends to make it hard for him to make new friends or to live a normal life. On top of this deep down he is kind of shy, so its hard for him to relate well with others. He makes his best attempts to act as his appearance would dictate.. he does want to be more forceful and outgoing. He's slowly making progress, but beneath the act is a fairly vulnerable and shy person.

History

Originally born in Manchester, England. Justin's family moved to the U.S when he was nine years old after his mother (who was of American birth) needed to go to look after her grandfather, who's health had failed after losing his wife. When Justin started to develop super strength when he was 12 years old he was excited despite his parents worries. He assumed he would become a typical caped superhero. However when he was 13 years old horns started to grow on his head and he became quite hairy. That was just the start.. the next few months were quite trying for him as he slowly turned into a Minotaur, his head becoming that of a Bull, feet becoming cleft hooves and a tail growing as his body became covered in course brown fur. He became very reclusive due to his mutation and suffered a lot of abuse at school. However he got his wish: he developed superstrength and invulnerability. As he grew to adulthood another aspect of his mutation developed: when he stopped ageing at adulthood. His depression soon set in and he turned to alcohol to try and ease his troubled emotions. After a few years working putting his strength to use in construction he was working late in Kings Row and encountered a group of the Circle at his construction site who intended to sacrifice a captive civilian they were holding. He was reminded of what his parents had told him, that he should 'put his powers to good use'. He saved the man from members of the circle. The man turned out of be a collector of magical artifacts, and in thanks for the saving of his soul he bestowed on him a magical axe he had gained: The indestructible Axe of the Minotaur's. It was impossible to use by a human as only a true Minotaur was said to be able to wield it, but Justin found he could.. he considered this change of fortune to be a sign, it was his destiny to help those in need.

Of late

He has come to accept himself more of late, he's still not truly comfortable but he is no longer intensely aware of it. He has left his old construction job and has taken a part time job as a meta combat trainer offered by Hero Corps which pays more than his old full time job. He has also known to take the occasional freelance hero job offered by the company.

Equipment

• Magical Axe: Justin gained this axe during his first year as a Hero. One of the folk he rescued in his early career was a mage who collects magical artifacts. The axe is from another more magical and medieval Dimension where many 'fantasy' races live, one of which is a race of Minotaur's. The Axe was useless to him as more than a collection piece: it only allows itself to be wielded by Minotaur's. On a hunch he let him try it as thanks, and it works just fine for him, so he let him have it. It is indestructible and can be recalled to him by force of will.

• Throwing Orbs: Mino carries these steel orbs in a pack of six at is belt, he uses them as a ranged attack in combat.

Powers

• Super Strengh: High. He can lift hundreds of tons with ease.

• Invulnerability: High. He can still weather bruises in super powered combat. (Think Superman: he can look beat up in a battle with a brick type, but he isn't truly hurt)

• Fast Healing: He can weather bruises etc, but they heal in a short amount of time.

• Systemic Antidote: He is essentially immune to poisons and diseases.

• Heightened Senses: He can see in low light conditions and has a greater sense of smell and hearing than a human.

• Agelessness: He is not affected by the ravages of time. While not truly immortal he will not grow old.

• Antimagic Trait: For some reason, he seems very resistant to magic.
