Kirstyn Rose grew up surrounded by superheroes her whole childhood. Her father, the mighty Starman, and her mother, Mrs. Nuclear, raised her according to the highest ideals of self-sacrifice and taught her to always help those who cannot help themselves.
When her parents died in the first Rikti War, her mother's sidekick took Kirstyn in, and helped her come to terms with their loss. When she turned 20, she took what was left of her mother's power armor and incorporated it into her own design - a nuclear-powered battlesuit which lets her channel an enormous amount of energy to blast, smash, or repel her foes.
