History
As a boy Rob Callahan had a passion for comic books and the colorful superhero stories they contained. Having been born and raised in Paragon City he held the costumed crime fighters he saw in the real world in the utmost regard and reverence. While he didn’t possess any superpowers of his own Rob sought to live the most noble and upright life he possibly could using as his role models the just champions he idolized all his life. All the while Rob wished that someday he would get superpowers somehow.
This superior life ethic allowed him to get through school with high marks and served him well in the business world. There he achieved great wealth and greater success. Through it all he always gave generously to the city that he grew up in.
At the age of 29 Rob was visited by a cosmic entity calling itself the Everwatcher. Sitting in his office at the close of a business day, Rob was suddenly transported away from the Earth. Where he was transported he had no clue, weeks later he would hypothesize it was a pocket dimension of some sort. The Everwatcher told Rob that it sees everything that transpires in the Universe. The Everwatcher, usually content to simply watch events unfold themselves, spoke to Rob’s mind that he had found him to be just, noble, and virtuous far more so than the average human man. Because of this the Everwatcher granted Rob the ability to transform himself into a superhuman avatar of near limitless strength and amazing invulnerability!
Once back on Earth Rob was amazed at his newfound ability to change his very body from the weak mortal form of Rob Callahan into the entity he dubbed “Mr. Virtuous” that even came with it’s own uniform and cape! Rob uses his new powers of Mr. Virtuous to tirelessly devote himself to the betterment of the people of Paragon City!
Other distinguishing features
Rob Callahan requires glasses to see well. He also wears a neatly trimmed goatee. Being a cosmic/dimensional entity the Mr. Virtuous body does not change and always looks the same.
Strength level
Mr. Virtuous has the strength to lift approximately 70 tons. Rob Callahan is considerably weak by human standards.
Known superhuman powers
In addition to his considerable physical strength Mr. Virtuous' skin, bones, and muscles are extremely dense providing him with amazing invulnerability from firearms, blade weapons, heat, cold, and pressure. Mr. Virtuous has the ability to fly and can reach Mach 1 at his fastest possible speed. Mr. Virtuous also has the ability to focus the cosmic powers of his body into laser beams that emit out of his eyes.
Other abilities
Mr. Virtuous has an uncanny ability to refocus himself and keep himself upright and fighting even in the face of overwhelming odds. After years of fighting crime Mr. Virtuous is an accomplished tactician.
Limitations
Despite Mr. Virtuous' power Rob Callahan is still subject to human necessities (sleep, hunger, restroom, aging, etc). Because of this Rob Callahan must revert to his human form on a regular basis. Mr. Virtuous has no protection from mental and psionic attacks. Mr. Virtuous has also shown a vulnerability to slowing attacks all but crippling his speed and movement.
