Nicholas Scratch
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
This article about a character is a stub -- a small, but growing, work in progress. If you're the creator of this character, why not consider expanding it?

Affiliations
Scratch has been seen in the company of several well placed Arachnos soldiers and agents, including Marshall Brass, though he isn't above working with other groups to earn extra money for his financial needs.
While not an affiliation, he has been seen repeatedly in the presence of The Cape radio shows.
Personality
Powers
Several fire-based powers have been seen in Scratch's arsenal. The source currently suspected is that of Molecular Agitation to the point of material and gaseous spontaneous combustion. The range of this ability is decent, up to 80 feet in many cases. The power behind the expelling of flame and smoke is likely based in limited pyrokinesis. Nicholas has generated pervasive clouds of smoke that blind and choke, as well as direction of generated flame in a concentrated form.
Scratch also possesses a form of flight, likely caused by the generation of heat, warming the air beneath him to generate lift. He has even refined this to the point of using it to relax while not actually moving.
While not a power per se, Nicholas also possesses deformed bestial hands and tapered and elongated ears. It is presumed that the hands controls most, if not all, of his powers, since they are always in use when his skills are activated. Caution is advised in case restraint is required, in case this is only a psychological crutch.
Weaknesses and Limitations
Nick's main flaw is his lack of contacts in Paragon City. While he's correcting this in the Rogue Isles, it has yet to be seen who he will side with in upcoming days.
Character History
From the Arachnos File on Nicholas Scratch:
The first incidence of this individual was in Cap au Diable in December of 2008. Recorded information collected indicates that he came though a random dimensional portal from a leftover experiment of the late Dr. Egon(Warning, Link Includes Plot Spoilers). Given his willingness to work with Arachnos to establish himself in the Rogue Isles, orders have come down from above that Scratch is to be given freedom unless he disseminates information about Egon. He currently lives in quarters provided by Arachnos in Aeon City.
Monitoring of the vigilante Nick Scratch has determined that they are apparently the same individual, though possessing differing abilities in the same area. Actions directed at determining the divergence in their past has been futile, as he has had no conversations dealing with his own past. It has been noted that he has searched several sources for people who do not exist in this spatial-timeline.
