Nikko was just a punk kid pulled off the streets of Praetoria by some scientists. They did things to him, things he'd rather not get in to. Made him crazy good with guns. They also made him what they called a "Painbringer", a prototype of course. He can relieve people of their pain, hurting himself, or he can intensify it beyond what is bearable. Recently he's made friends with a few heroes and one of them, a girl named Tori, hopes she can influence him for the better. But considering he's just made another powerful enemy, someone Tori's own surrogate father has history with, it remains to be seen if she can help him or not.
