James Guerrero had always been a brave man, since he was young he was raised to believe that the world always needed heroes. Being orphaned at a young age and being raised by his grandfather he learned the values of hard work and about the difficulties in life. His grandfather taught young James everything he needed to know about the world they lived in, he taught him that respect was never given but earned, he taught him that family and brotherhood were two things that everyone needed. As the years went by James's grandfather had reached old age and was unable to take care of himself leaving James to tend for him and his younger brother Issac. While Issac went off to study in Steel Canyon, James remained in Founders Falls until the death of his grandfather. Now with his kid brother starting his own life and his grandfather no longer with him, James saw no other way to protect others then to enlist in the United States army. There his bravery and quick to protect attitude earned him the respect of all his fellow soldiers, being given many medals and being known as one of our greatest gunners of all time. After serving two tremendous tours James came back to Paragon to his hometown of Founders Falls. Upon returning he learned that crime was at an all time high and even the great heroes of Atlas needed everyone's help in the fight against evil. He then would use his military ties to join the police force of Paragon to continue protecting those who needed it most, there he would continue to rise in popularity due to his immense desire to help the innocents of the city and do his part to make Paragon safe once more.

One day during an intense Freakshow raid in an apartment building in Founders, James found himself in a horrific scene. The building around him was going to collapse and two small children were going to lose their lives unless he could find a way to help them. He quickly made the decision to rush into the back and rescue the two young kids, in an attempt to hurl them to safety through the only available door of the building. James did just that but unfortunately the remaining pillars gave out causing a major portion of the building to collapse on top of him. He was rushed to the nearest hospital but everyone was sure he was dead, James then went into a deep coma with only a hint of life left in him the majority of Paragon had feared the death of police officer that even though possessed no super powers still did his part to serve justice. One night however an immense force of energy was felt and seen over the top of Founders Falls hospital, the energy seem to be in search for someone, perhaps its new host, quickly the force made its way into James's room. The energy quickly entered James like super dosed adrenaline shot, it fiercely brought James to life carrying him away from the hospital and to Founders' signature waterfalls.

There the energy told him about a great power called The Omega Empowerment, it told of all the different empowerments, Alpha, Delta, Gamma, Sigma, but what it really told him was how powerful and unique the Omega power was to the rest. The force told him that many beings across the universe posses the different empowerment and that now the Omega empowerment has chosen its first host. The force of energy then quickly entered James becoming one with him, with this James would gain back his life and many new skills and abilities that will help him do what he loved to do, protect and serve. With help of his friend Joe Tatum, also known as the hero Bishop Jericho, James would begin creation of his power suit Omega Mark V. The suit would possess a powerful enough core to contain his energy and to dish it out as well. With his new suit finally made the time came to reveal to the world Powered Omega and to reveal that James Guerrero is in fact still alive and ready to serve once more.

Powered Omega then would go on to Atlas Park where he would register with hero corps and begin his duties as a registered hero. At first getting used to his new found powers was a challenge but with the help of many heroes he had met during his days of a police officer he quickly learned the ropes and soon rose through the ranks of all the new heroes. Now after about two years since first getting his empowerment James has become one with it and Powered Omega has become one of the most well known heroes in our generation.

PO's Suit is made of newly created metal him and his friend Bishop made named Omega Metallum. The metal is a collaboration of all of Earth's greatest metals, in its true form the metal is almost like a tight spandex used to be made specifically and only for James to wear. Once hardened his suit still is as flexible as James's own body but is ultimately indestructible capable of withstanding any form of bullets, fire, and all other virtual damage. The suit also provides PO with a variety of force shields protecting him from different versions of damage.

His suit's main focal point is his belt which he refers to as his Omega Core. His belt harnesses all of his empowerment within it as well as being the main power source for his suit. His belt also has inner wires that tap into Omega's body giving him a full display of his health levels which can be seen through his visor. Along with his health levels he can see his target's health levels. His visor works similar to gamer vision, his visor also shows peoples records and hero records. His belt's AI taps into any records available to it and any other source it may find. His helmet also has a variety of different comm channels that he uses to talk with his friends and contacts. His suit also a high-tech MP3 unit giving him streams of any radio and also provides him with a recording device but mostly it provides him with tunes as he patrols. Along with his suit's many defenses he has built in a cloaking device which gives Omega the ability to blend in with all his surroundings and it has also given him the ability to become invisible himself.

His shoulder pads and chest piece serve as armor for him along with his gloves and boots, each armor piece is as light as regular clothes but as durable as any military bunker and tank armor. Overall his suit serves as the housing unit for himself and his powers giving him boosts of strength and various shields to protect Powered Omega during combat.

In recent times Powered Omega has met with the Global Defense Force applying there for a position within the powerful hero group. He has fought alongside of a few of the heroes within its ranks learning their styles and more importantly the personalities they hold. He's been enjoying his time so far and has begun further training of his abilities within the incarnates, he hopes his power will continue to rise that way he can continue helping the people of Paragon. Some have noticed that PO's attitude has changed not for the worse but for the better his bravery has reached a level that some would call ego however James continues to put justice before anything else but does so with a grin. Having been accepted into the Global Defense Force PO has continued to raise in popularity in Paragon fighting alongside his new team mates and friends. Currently Powered Omega has been promoted to Commander of Global Defense Force after Black Authority's stepping down to pursue other personal issues, PO accepted the position and gladly awaits his friend's return.
