- Radiogenic was originally came into existence when the player was dabbling on the idea of a warshade with that appearance, but the head ended up looking a little too similar to Requiem, so instead of Purple the character became colored green and from there the DP/Rad Blaster was born.
- Radiogenic's design is partially inspired by the character of Blight from Batman Beyond.
