Past
Rian Miles and Rein Miles were born October 31, 1995. These two twin babies were born in to a family of Ninja's. When Rian and Rein were 10 there parents started to train them in the ways of being a ninja. Rian being a slight bit of a rebel decided to style it up his own way, using two daggers instead of a katana. Rian's Parents one night left on a job when he was twelve. The parents stole an item form the Tsoo and they thought they got away fine. A couple days later while Rian and Rein were having a sleep over with all their friends, the Tsoo suddenly attacked wanting the item back. Rian grabed Rein and hid themselves quick enough but they saw everything that happened. The Tsoo quickly killed their Mom, their Dad, and all of their friends. Then they took the Item the were looking for and left. Rian and Rein were alone with no one but themselves. Rian vowed from that day forward he wouldnt allow this to ever happen again. He vowed he would protect his sister at all cost and will not make any more friends so they can not be hurt.
Alone
Rian and Rein ran away from the place where everyone they loved died. They were now two apprentice Ninja's with little money. Rian decided to help there situation by starting to steal stuff himself along with Gambling. One day he met a man while hanging around a crowd. Rian didn't realize the man was a mutant, and Rian being cocky bet him ten million dollars he could make a dagger fly further then he could. The guy accepted the bet and let Rian go first, Rian tosses the dagger and it flies pretty far. The man seemed impressed and then threw his dagger and used his powers of metal manipulation to send his four times as far as Rian. The guy told Rian to pay up, but Rian didnt have the money so they guy gave him a month to earn the money or else he would kill him and his sister. Rian ran off to make this large sum of money by working with a arachnos named Kalinda. He would do odd ball jobs for her to earn some money, but it was not working fast enough. He decided to move on to burglery, his first target was an orphanage in St. Martials, A place known as The Last Bastion. He scheamed up a plan, He would enter the building and colapse while the people in the place were distracted tending to him, his sister would sneak in and clean out the place. The plan started out perfectly, Rian walked in and fell to the floor, a woman known as Spectra heard him and rushed him to the med bay where she and the other people in the place cared for him and tried to figure out what was wrong. The plan almost worked, until Rein walked in to the medbay becuase she didnt want to be a thief. Spectra talked to the children about what had happened and why they were trying to steal from her. She offered to let them stay there and take care of this debt, Reluctantly Rian agreed to stay after his sister wanted to.
The Last Bastion
From day one Rian was a trouble maker in the place. He bad mouthed everyone and destroyed stuff. The first week he almost killed himself when he got in a fight with a kid living there and he tried to pull of a move he saw in a movie were he shoves his dagger through himself in to the guy behind him. Obviously his daggers were to short and only pierced him self. He was rushed to the medbay where Luna Firespeaker and Spectra quickly healed him as fast as they could. Rian was very destructive in his first month or two he got there. Spectra decided to talk to Rian alone at night a couple of times, where they sat for hours talking and helping him out. She even got Rian in to Fire spinning to keep him busy and less destructive in the base.
While living there Rian met a girl named Samantha. Sam was a thirteen year old girl who seemed to tag along with Rian where he went, and he got her in trouble quite a bit. They soon started realizing they had feelings for each other and finally admitted to it after a man they met named Tyrth had a talk with both of them.
