The Creator

When Lord Recluse himself ordered Dr. Aeon to build him a personal bodyguard, he knew it wouldn’t be an easy feat. Aeon may be a genius, but to build a machine powerful enough to guard Recluse and have a fighting chance against Statesmen, seemed impossible enough. Disregarding his professional standpoint on it, Aeon began to work.

Months went by before Recluse ordered Aeon to show him the progress. Recluse had gathered his finest men to be there for the presentation. When Dr. Aeon walked into the room, and had nothing in his hands, Recluse gave a mighty yell. He immediately stood up, pulled out a pistol and shot Aeon square in the chest. Recluse and his men walked out of the room, while some peons scuttled in and picked up his dead body. He was thrown off the side of the towering base into the cold, black ocean.

Several children found a wounded man on the beach and hauled them into their homes, Trying to do the right thing. Several days past before Dr. Aeon woke up. He thanked them for their help, and asked where he was. One of the children said a small island called Rombis, thirty miles off the coast of Arachnos Headquarters.

Aeon left the island and made his way to the nearest city, Cap Au Diable. He took a job as a weapons crafter for a small Gold Bricker outpost. Not only did he move up in their ranks fast, he developed many of the standardized weapons and gear they use today. In exchange for his service to the brickers, they gave him a prototype piece of armor they have been testing out. They said it was harder than titanium, but could bend like aluminum. They only made a small supply, but Aeon insisted that he gather all of it. Dr. Aeon was on to something.

Aeon went from job to job, using his incredible brain to improve whatever he touched. He gathered many unregistered metals, weapons, ions, whatever he could to build Recluse’s machine.

3 long years later, while Lord Recluse was devising a plan to destroy the Freedom Phalanx, the sirens went off. Recluse sent forth most of his minions to the cause of the problem, only to have them all be killed. Recluse, even though he was being attacked, grinned at the sight of a challenge.

As Recluse and his remaining minions waited, the door between him and the enemy exploded. Smoke and debris flew, leaving nothing to be seen. When the smoke cleared, Dr. Aeon walked in with a tall, armed to the teeth robot.

Recluse, first seeming surprised, laughed. All that he said was, “Good work.”
