BIOGRAPHY

Born in a small Midwestern town, Kelly Winters discovered she was a mutant. Naively, she thought that her family and friends would be excited about these new abilities. Rather, her friends despised her and her family, perhaps in fear of the unknown, turned her over to Dr. Oscar Hind in hopes of finding a 'cure for her disease'. Unfortunately, Dr. Hind was a student of Dr. Vahzilok, who was attempting to find a way to easily bind powers to cadavers. While imprisoned, she met Sheeva,“ the daughter of a human and the frost giant Thrymm. Upon discovering Dr. Hind's plans, the two joined together to escape; however, Sheeva was mortally wounded. Having escaped, Kelly went to Paragon City to find other super powered beings and to find a way to use her powers for good. Taking up the mantle of Sheeva, she has joined forces with other heroes in Paragon City in the Eternals.

Her early adventures in Paragon City involved frequent missions with Psych Ward, a new arrival as well. The two worked well together; blending their abillities in combat to stop street gangs such as the Skulls and Hellions. It wasn't long before they joined up with other heroes as part of the Paragon City Life Force. Unfortunately, during her tenure with Life Force, several key team members were slain, including the leader Partial Life. This led to the eventual disbanding of the team; however, Sheeva and Psych Ward reformed a new team: The Eternals.

Many months passed and Sheeva defeated some of Paragon's City's most diabolical villains. In her quest to stop evil, she uncovered the dark truth about Crey Industries. To the public, the corporation appeared to be pursuing noble ends; however, they were actually subduing the city to further their profits and base of power. Unfortunately, Sheeva got too close to the truth and found herself captured and drugged by the Crey. They used her as a weapon against their enemies and had it not been for the aid of Psych Ward, she may never have been able to free herself from their influence.

After a failed mission in the Rogue Isles, Sheeva has been missing in action.
