Criminal Activites

- Has been known to commit bank robberies and petty theft from convenience stores throughout Paragon City.

- Sir Spectrum, among other villains, attempted to ruin the preparations of the Palladium Sentry's second anniversary party, causing destruction and terrorizing civilians. He then proceeded to assault the heroes that thwarted his actions. He was promptly taken into custody.

- Assembling a team of Freakshow, Sir Spectrum raided a building and rigged it with explosives. He proclaimed they were "fireworks" in celebration of the Palladium Sentry's third anniversary. He and his Freakshow allies were swiftly dealt with and all explosives were disarmed. We was promptly taken into custody.

Known Background Information

William Longbottom had found a job as an intern with one of the many smaller labs throughout Paragon City. He enjoyed the job, but always wanted more out of it. Thanks to a freak accident involving a device capable of generating portable rainbows, he was gifted with the ability to harness the color spectrum found within light and use it in a destructive fashion. Always one to have an overinflated sense of pride, he deemed himself superior to his colleagues and quit his job in a search for power.

Using money he had in a savings account, he designed a costume and took on the name Sir Spectrum. He initially stood to protect his fellow man, completely obsessed with the glory that came with being a superhero. He defeated many thugs throughout the city, protecting the common man on the streets. But William couldn't handle it when he inevitably lost his fame and recognition to newer heroes. From that day on, he vowed he would do whatever it took to be recognized as the superior human that he was. If the people wouldn't respect him, then they would fear him.

Powers and Weaknesses

Sir Spectrum is able to harness the color spectrum within light and use it offensively in the form of bursts of multi-colored energy. These attacks typically singe and cause concussive damage to whomever they hit.

However, the criminal's defense is severely lacking. His suit offers minimal to no protection, while his battle strategies consist of mostly offensive strikes and blasts. His attacks are typically targeted towards a single individual, making it very easy to overwhelm him with numbers.
