Introduction
A Praetorian native, Street-Knight came to Primal Earth in order to recruit heroes for the upcoming battle with Emperor Cole and his forces. Upon his arrival, Street-Knight joined with the long-standing hero group known as The Virtue League. Alongside his new allies, Street-Knight hopes to be able to weather the coming storm and protect the place he now calls home.
Praetoria
Jason Quinn led a life like most Praetoria citizens. He held a 9-5 job working for a local construction company (jockying for a promotion), he had a wife and newborn daughter he loved very much, and he was completely ignorant of the filth that stained his beloved Imperial City. He wasn't blind to the violence that occured on occasion, mind you. But he knew little of the corruption that was suppose to protect the lives of him and his loved ones.
Until he lost it all.
On the day he received his promotion to Team Lead, he called his wife and they decided to celebrate after he was off of work. They would meet later that night at the little outdoor cafe, Loyal Coffee & Tea, where they met years ago. Unfortunately, his supervisor kept him after work to review a few documents needed for an upcoming project making him an hour late for dinner. But just on time for the explosion.
Apparently, a group of the Destroyers were looking to expand their control into Syndicate turf. To send a message, they used a show of force, having Blast Masters set off a chain of explosions where Syndicate members were known to gather. Jason had just gotten out of the cab and waved to his wife when the first explosion went off, incinerating everyone at the cafe. All Jason remembered after that was pain and blackness.
He awoke several days later in the ICU at Cole Memorial Hospital, scarred by shrapnel from the explosion, but none the worse for wear. When he asked about his wife and daughter, they told him no bodies were able to be recovered once the fires were out. Everyone at ground zero was incinerated. The news sent Jason into shock. For a few moments, he sat there in complete silence as the doctors tried to console him. Suddenly, his mind snapped and he began lashing out at those around him.
After injuring 4 doctors and an orderly, Jason was sedated and sent to the Behavioral Adjustment Facility for evaluation and treatment. While there, he underwent minor adjustments to control his violent outbursts but was released early given the speed at which he took to the adjustments and the fact his rage was caused by traumatic stress and not Hamidon Spores (which the BAF tends to treat).
After he was discharged, Jason returned to work as usual. He grieved as was expected, but seemed no worse for wear.
