Appearance
Talia has fair skin, shoulder-length blonde hair, blue eyes, and a tendency towards light purple eye shadow. When working independently, she wears a long black trenchcoat with purple lining and a purple flak jacket underneath. Her casual clothes are mostly a mixture of blacks, greys, and purples. There are no distinguishing marks or accessories, aside from her combat gear and a purple butterfly pendant she occasionally wears prominently when not geared for combat.
Personality
Talia's past seems to have had an extremely strong impact on her current demeanor. While she can be sociable, friendly and joking, more often she's quiet, preferring to watch the activities of others from the side. She's extremely averse to physical proximity and contact, only allowing unexpected touch from those she's come to trust greatly. Talia is very responsive to instructions from the chain of command, presumably due to her experience as a mercenary.
She tends to prefer last names, especially when speaking to higher ranking members of the team, and in reference to herself. When asked how she wants to be called, she invariably responds with "Esther", but doesn't seem bothered by being referred to as Talia.
Capabilities
Talia's combat capabilities mostly revolve around skill in tactical movement and precision application of conventional weaponry. She has some martial arts training, primarily Aikido, but most of her offensive capacity is due to her custom-built firearms. She is extremely agile, and able to respond to changing combat situations rapidly; additionally, she tries to coordinate with her teammates, increasing the effectiveness of each member in neutralizing targets.
She is moderately skilled in operating, maintaining and repairing a wide variety of devices, including being able to reconstruct high grade technological instruments, but until her recent reappearance she didn't seem to tend towards designing new devices. Lately, she has begun deploying devices that have a greatly varied set of effects that go beyond typical electronic or mechanical instruments.
History
Talia is on record as having worked for several years with a paramilitary organization that focused on humanitarian enforcement efforts throughout lesser developed nations. While they made sure they got paid, they only took jobs that were in some fashion helpful to the people in the region.
Late 2008 and early 2009, she spent a few months with the Reciprocators, a supergroup in Paragon City. This came to an end with her apparent death, when she to all appearances committed suicide via slit wrists during a confrontation with officers in the organization.
She resurfaced late January, 2010. Shortly after, she signed up with S.D.I.: Wolfcry Division, where she's been moderately active since.

Talia is not known to have any surviving relatives.
