In-game bio

Life no fun when you go from having everything to having nothing, not even a family to hold you up and love you. Always having to live in fear of destroying anyone that gets close to you.

A History

Tayler is the youngest child of David and Brittney DeChenne, from the time she was young her parents knew she had potential for greatness, they just never knew how great. She could read almost every word in the dictionary by the age of four and was far beyond her years in knowledge of law and neurology. It was soon discovered that Tayler had a photographic memory making her school life uninteresting and not worth a moment of her time, causing her to fail her first grade year. In an attempt to assist her interest her parents placed her in gymnastics and dance classes as well as Volleyball and Tennis. Finally her parents decided that homeschooling would be the best option, hiring only the best and brightest teachers, keeping her in her athletic classes as a reward that could be taken away for poor results. As time passed, Tayler’s abilities became less of pure protégée talent and more of a mutant ability. The gift was first noted by a tutor when Tayler was eleven, he had caught her doing multiple assignments by telekinetically moving the pencils on each paper. He tried to tell her parents but they dismissed the idea of having a mutant in their family and the man was quickly fired. Knowing how her parents would react to the truth, she took it upon herself to be sure that no one ever discovered her little secret again. Unfortunately, a nanny did. While Tayler was organizing her room, her nanny walked in seeing all the things moving around on their own. Tayler tried to explain that it was all parlor tricks but the woman would not listen, forcing Tayler to invade her mind and attempt to erase the memory. However, the memory wasn’t the only thing Tayler erased; by mistake she had removed the woman entire past, leaving nothing more than an empty husk with a shattered mind. The trauma left Tayler terrified to ever use her powers on a human being again. By the age of twelve, she began to notice emotions that made no sense to her swirling around in her mind. Leaving her depressed, angry, excited, lustful and disconnected at the most random of times. After consulting with many professionals, the DeChenne’s were forced to accept their only daughter was a freak. In a desperate attempt to have a normal little girl they contacted Crey to ‘fix’ her. Horrified at the very idea of losing her abilities, Tayler placed a fake memory of herself being hit by a truck and dying in to her parents minds before running away to live in the Croatoa forests. Over the next two years her powers soon developed beyond her subconscious control, it soon became impossible to venture in to the city without erasing memories, hearing secrets, and ruining lives, so she stayed in her hidden hollowed tree. She ate what she could find and slowly learned to turn the excess psychic and empathic energy in to a barrier. By the age of fifteen Tayler could again be with people, but lacked the life experience with them that she needed at her fragile age. After only a few days in reunion with the city, Tayler discovered that some men aren’t as honest as they seem. A young man had seen her wondering around and discovered she was a homeless, seeing no down side to just taking her he prepared a rag and snuck up putting the chemical rag over her face. Tay awoke alone and scared in a basement. For the next two years Tayler would be a toy for a sick man before finally releasing her powers on him to gain freedom. Though the experience was horrible, she learned a valuable thing; she could control her gifts. This period in her life has left her jaded and guarded toward men, always reading their minds for their true intentions... Now, at the age of seventeen she fights as a hero and attends Helens Point Academy to help others and better herself. Her dream is to one day become a world famous doctor, in envy of her father. Unfortunately, Tayler is now addicted to pain medication due to a constant migrane from forcing her powers to stay to her and only her. She also smokes to assist with the stress, only time will tell if she will be able to kick her addictions and turn her live around.
