Backstory
Hotaru Wakahisa was born the only daughter to in the Wakahisa household. Her mother and father were both vary traditional. Her father was a scientist brilliant and some say mad while her mother came from a vary wealthy line of once nobles. Growing up she followed her father everywhere and as WW I came to an end Hotaru was just coming into her teens and was just as brilliant as her father. She had gain entrance into one of the highest rated collages at an age most children were still struggling with high school. While she was one of the greatest minds of her age she would be forgotten pushed by a male dominated culture. When WW II came around she was bitter but she found a kindred spirit in Japan's allies. A man of many skills Dieter Krause became a long distance friend and confidant. While she was pushed from project to project never being more then a mere assistant to some other male scientist. It was one of these projects that would later shape her life. The Teishin Shudan project while mostly was just a simple thing of developing equipment for special paratroopers. Hotaru tried to take it to another level with insights gleaned from Dieter she suggested augmentations to troopers. She was repeatedly turned down being told that her ideas would never work and that her research was flawed. She knew otherwise because some of these same techniques and technologies were already working in Dieter her friend within the Reich. It was this that cause her to be removed from active status and shunned by the scientific world as a hack. 1945 would mark the end of Hotaru as the world knew her. Being one of the ground zero survivors of the H-Bomb she was almost unrecognizable as even human anymore 90% of her skin was burned away. She would recover amazingly but she would be a shadow of her former self. It was in this twisted from that she decided to prove them all wrong. Over the next decade she would rebuild herself much like her friend Dieter did. Perfecting and replacing part by part while she lost contact with him she ventured into her own designed moving form clockwork into digital and electronics. All that was the woman known as Hotaru has become the genderless Teishin Shudan the mechanical killer. It would be decades later she would find out the whereabouts of Gespenster as Dieter prefers to be called now. She would find him still ever the confidant of her crazed inter thoughts.
Personality
Teishin can be cold and distant having lost much that would be called human in her. She is still a brilliant scientist and skilled combatant. Teishin can be described as driven and her current goals is to prove to the world that her designs and breakthroughs are something to be reckoned with.
