Personality

The Defiled is childlike in his mannerisms, seeming to have a twisted sense of right or wrong. The only thing that can really be said is that he's clearly insane. He refers to himself as more than one person, suggest schizophrenia, and seems to have no remorse for the terrible things he does.

Powers

Telekinesis

The Defiled has the ability to draw on his connection to raw magic energy and focus it into blasts of energy or force. In his more sane states, this can be very finite and directed, often sending single projectiles hurling at his enemies with precision. When he loses his control however, the blasts become undefined and wavelike, often blasting everything in the general direction of his target. It's unknown if there's a limit to the physical 'strength' of this ability, and only time will tell how powerful he really is.

Mind Control

The Defiled is able to force those around him who commit evil to relive those same events through the eyes of their victims. Depending on the severity of the offender's crimes, this can have any effect from a mild headache to putting them into a full blown coma, or even causing cardiac arrest.

Telepathy

Part of the magic torture inflicted on him, Defiled's mind is effectively a receiver for the thoughts of all around him. The spell seems almost impossible to remove, and even the most powerful spells seem to only temporarily block out the myriad voices around him. The darker and more violent the thoughts, the wider the range of the spell. Thus, Defiled's mind is always filled with dark and twisted images of sadistic torture, mutilation, and other despicable thoughts inflicted on him by his tormentors.

• The Defiled was inspired largely by my habit of playing dark characters with a purpose. His conceptual influences include Todd McFarlane's Spawn, and the Hellblazer universe.
