Prince, King, Warrior, God...
Born a hybrid of human and an, until recently, unknown aquatic race, the being known as the Sub-Oceanic became king of this nomadic people. Like the rest of his people, the Sub-Oceanic has a blue skin color that makes them nearly invisible in the ocean depths. As a mutant, the Sub-Oceanic is significantly stronger than the rest of his race, with a skin density that allows him to withstand tremendous pressure. In him, the natural sonar communication abilities of his people have been amplified exponentially, allowing him to create sonic fields of various effects. Like his people, he has the ability to generate electricity similar to electric eels, but so powerful he can hurl arcs at great distance. The Sub-Oceanic is the only one of his kind that is able to breathe on land, but he requires regular hydration to survive.
He Who Would Be King
As a young prince, it is the duty of any who would claim the mantle of king to do battle with the Lusca, a giant Kraken originally bred as an ultimate weapon against their mortal enemy the Corolax. The beast had escapes it's bonds many years ago and was tracked by the young prince to the docks of Independance Port in Paragon city. The Prince beseached the heroes to aid him in defeating this terror. The battle was pitched, causing major damage to the docks and sinking several tankers before Lusca was finally forced to retreat. Because of his heroism, the Sub-Oceanic was made an official hero of Pragon City. Returning to his people with proof of his victory, the Sub-Oceanic was crowned king of his people!
The Incarnate of the Leviathan
There are some threats that even a super-powered, undersea mutant, with the blessings of a god cannot defeat. There would come a time when the Sub-Oceanic would have to go to a place were few dare travel, to gain the power of the first thing to live beneath the waves. The threat was grave, grave enough to bring the god Prometheus to converse with mortals once more. It was by his guidings that the Sub-Oceanic was guided along the path of the Well of the Furies, to an ancient cave to discover the first shard of the Incarnate of the Leviathan. It was mearly a small piece of a giant scale, but upon touching it, the Sub-Oceanic was imbued with power beyond even his imagination!
