The Immortal Life

Tirza was born to a small Jewish family in 230 BC. Her family was a nomadic tribe that moved their sheep herds throughout the middle east and had done so for many many years. One night when she was about 10 years old she had been watching the eastern edge of the herds with her brother Pardes when a shooting star fell from the heavens about 3 miles from them. Her brother wanted to see it, but Tirza knew that if he went he would get distracted and wouldn't return to help her watch the herds so she agreed to go if he would stay and watch the herds till she got back. Pardes argued with his older sister for the better part of a half hour before she finally told him what was going to happen and set off for the fallen star. Just after she left her father, and older brothers had arrived to see what the flash and the rumble had been and of course Pardes told a tremendous tail of explosions and horrific demons, and that his mean sister had gone to see it all for herself.

Tirza traveled over the plains rather quickly till she came to the still steaming hole left be the small rock that had fallen from the heavens. She quickly slide down the crater and over to the small what looked to be at the most pebble sized stone she reached for it and it was still smoldering so she stopped and pured water over it. The water hissed over the stone from her water skin and then the stone exploded from the change in temperature sending blue shards in every direction most of them hitting Tirza and throwing her back. She hit her head on the now stone crater and was knocked out.

She woke in her tent several hours after sunrise to her mother and sisters looking over her concerned. She quickly asked about the stone her mother and sisters listened happily to the tail of stone and the blue explosion. One of them quickly got a bowel of water so she could see the new blue shard embedded in her forehead. The shard looked like nothing more then a twinkling jewel put in the center for her forehead, and she smiles brightly at how beautiful it was. Everyone had wanted her to remove it, but she told them that she liked it and that she wanted to keep it. Her family finally relented and let her keep it.

Tirza's family roamed the plains as they always had but as her sisters younger then her continued to grow she did not and seemed to remain 10 years old even after her youngest sister had been married off and had children of her own. She became fearful that the stone was the cause and tried to cut it from herself, but the stone caused such horrid pain as she tried she passed out. Each attempt at removing it made her pass out. She had other members of her family try and one particular attempt nearly killed her; in fact the pain did kill her. Her body was going to be buried the next day when she woke much to her families fright and dismay. She was sent to Jerusalem's to consult the Rabbis there thinking maybe she had been possessed, but luckily for her one Rabi took her in and took care of her sheltering her from the younger more fanatical members of the Jewish order.

Tirza spent her days with the older man named Eitan he taught her everything he knew and told her Elohim had a plan for her and always would guide her in his will. So for years and years she became the hidden scroll keeper knowledge seeker and scribe for the temple. She was sheltered and hidden and never seemed to age no matter how much time passed. In about 46 BC several years after the Roman's occupied Jerusalem she got tired of being looked at as a monster, and hidden from the eyes of others. She packed up her belongings pulled in a couple favors for money and headed West along the Roman trade routes. She used the languages she had learned in the Temple and her youthful features to slip through Rome easily. She travailed to Greece to consult Oracles about the shard and what they came up with made her even more confused. She traveled through southern Europe asking questions and receiving mixed answers. Some wise men said she was a divine gift on the world sent by Artemis. Of course Tirza quickly moved away from the roman mythology area, and the wise men believing that they had to be even more clueless then herself. She slowly moved to the out skirts of Rome to seek places of hiding as new frontiers opened up. She decided that one day there would be a time when she could find out, but for now it was just a matter of staying hidden. As Christianity grew in the world she was very upset at how the Jewish population was portrayed and kept hidden even more letting different communities adopt her and keeping herself hidden as a young girl.

The Roman empire fell and chaos fell over the land. Tirza quickly found shelter in the temples, monasteries, and churches picking up her old duties as scroll keeper and scribe. Often times she was secretly teaching the monks and priests to read, and for that she was hidden in the under belly of Europe's Dark ages. The Renaissance soon came and she once again pulled herself from the dark book shelves and set out to find out information about the shards. She searched France and Italy finding many scholars that asked fascinating questions, but none of them knew the reason that she did not age. She even went as far north as Ireland and Scotland to consult the last of the Druids and still no answers. She however realized that she had been aging after a group of men attempted to corner her in an alley. After she escaped she realized she looked much like a blossoming young woman, and with that came unwanted attention. She never did cycle, so she knew she could not be fertile and as such she knew that she should never be married and would be the same as a eunuch. Tirza realized that where as she thought she had not been aging in fact she had just extremely slowly. So she moved from the large cities and hid in the farmsteads moving among them once again.

Towards the end of the European Renaissance the establishment of large trading corporations made it easier to travel the world. Tirza quickly moved to join in the exportation curious about India and China. The East Indian trading company was established in the 1600, and she was quick to dress as a young man and move from ship to ship as a young crewmen. The East Indian trading company provided her with the best reach and scope of the world. At the various port stops she would take her payment, and travel abroad throughout China and India. She asked wise men, seers, wizards, apothecaries, and every overly knowledgeable person that she could find about the possibility of agelessness. For the most part the answers where the same spirits, demons, and gods. After some time she felt dejected and lost, then jumped the trading company ships again as a young man moving to the new World this time. She stopped at the West Indies and then moved inland from there. As she went she picked up the natives languages and began to move from tribe to tribe as different tribes found out about her agelessness she was met with fear, but also with reverence. Not wanting this kind of attention she turned to the United States and disappeared among its chaos hiding in its deeper in inner workings to keep people from attacking her or revering her as something she was not.

The US civil war drove her West once again where she lived along the Pacific until the war finally ended. She always seemed to have amazing luck in avoiding trouble and harm. Each war she avoided, seeing it as nothing more then a needless conflict between Elohim's creations. One war however she became involved in. A war that was against her Elohim's beloved race. The Rikti war brought her out of hiding by this point she looked to be 18 at the most and their fearful ways led her to protect Elohim's creations from them. She faught with the hero's of paragon and after the wars finished and the Rikti left she began to watch the new world form in their wake she learned all she could about the new technology and magics. Her mind was still firmly rooted in the teachings she had clung to for so many years, so many of these new actions made her think that Humanity would become much like those that she faught to protect them from. She left for the Isles after gathering as much as she could from those in Paragon, and hid in the Isles of Rouges trying to decide the best way to protect Elohim's creations.
