Background
Octorius Prime
Octorius Prime was a world scarce on resources with a population that was slowly dying out. As a means to aid their world, a conclave of priests that had been studying ancient technological secrets came upon the means to create their own life in a test tube. Realizing they may have discovered a means to repopulate their planet, the Gene-Priests, as they were later called, used this knowledge to grab hold of the majority of the control over Octorius.
In a move they claimed would help to rebuild the struggling resource and population issues of their world, they created government mandates restricting the right to reproduce (For those that still could) and began creating The Breeders. Breeders were hermaphroditic beings genetically tailored to breed with either sex as ordered by the Gene-Priests. This way there would be no shortage of gender and the population would slowly rebuild as the GPs saw fit.
When a Breeder was impregnated, the Breeder's embryo would be genetically altered to weed out imperfections and impurities to try and create beings incapable of reproducing themselves. If a Breeder was to impregnate a still fertile female Vulpesian, their genetic code would be altered to produce the same results. This was not done regularly so as to avoid public suspicion but to keep the populace reliant on the Gene-Priest's technology.
To avoid any uprising by the Breeders themselves, the Gene-priests would manipulate them mentally to make them subservient to the Priests and remove what traces they could of independence. In short, the Breeders became nothing more then genetically created sex dolls with the personality of a rock.
Until Adaliah was created.
Adaliah
Adaliah, or Breeder 435B-2, was to be just like other Breeders; emotionless husks of flesh. However, not all citizens of Octorius Prime believed in the Gene-Priests and a rebel faction known only as The Light of Truth saw fit to expose the secrets of these manipulative dictators.
On the night Adaliah was to be created, The Light broke into the Gene-priest's lab in an attempt to corrupt the genetic stock. Unbeknownst to them, what they ended up doing was mutating the stock used for Adaliah to create a Breeder not only capable of independent thought, but with the mental fortitude to resist the Breeder mental conversion process.
